Replacement bulbs
These are great lights. We have a chandelier that use these type bulbs. They just plug into the socket. These are replacement bulbs. Color is a bright white .

Beautiful light!
Beautiful light! I got these light fixtures at a local hardware store because they’re gorgeous even though they use an odd light bulb. They came with Xenon soft white bulbs that drew 160 watts per fixture which is absurd. These LEDs are a fraction of the wattage and the daylight light is just beautiful in this bathroom!

Bright, efficient bulbs - but one didn’t work
I bought this 10-pack of G9 LED bulbs as replacements for my old halogen ones, and overall, I’m really happy with them. What I Liked:Nice Daylight Color: The 4000K natural daylight tone is perfect - not too yellow or white. It brightens up my rooms beautifully without feeling harsh.Energy-saving: Each bulb only uses 4W, but they’re as bright as my old 40W halogen bulbs. I’m already seeing a difference in my energy usage, which is a huge plus.Excellent Brightness (400 Lumens): These bulbs give off much light, and the 360-degree beam spreads light evenly. They’re an excellent fit for my chandelier.Minor Downsides:One Bulb Didn’t Work: One bulb was a dud out of the box. It’s frustrating, but the other nine work perfectly, so I didn’t bother with a return. Not Dimmable: Just a heads-up—these bulbs can’t be dimmed, so they’re best for standard on/off fixtures.Final Thoughts:These G9 LED bulbs are great if you need reliable, bright, energy-efficient lighting. If not for the one defective bulb, this would have been a 5-star rating. Overall, they’re a good choice for anyone wanting quality LED lighting at a fair price.

1/3 the cost, 1/10 the energy use, 15x the life - what more do you need to know??
We had new chandeliers (entry and dining room) and a stairway sconce installed which used the halogen G9 base bulbs. They get HOT HOT HOT very quickly, and are extremely sensitive to oils on fingers, etc., requiring use of gloves to remove / install. I've found that the G9 bulbs don't have a very long life. Replacement halogen bulbs from Feit say 2000 hours life. So if you leave them on 12 hours a day, you'll need to replace them every 6 months. New G9 halogen bulbs at 40 watts are $6 a pop at the big blue box retailer. We probably have 40+ bulbs between our chandeliers and sconce. You can do the math; just the purchase cost is about $250 to outfit them once. Try that twice a year!So when the first few failed, I went to the big blue box hardware store and bought replacements, being careful to use gloves to install the new ones (with the dead ones, no need to wear gloves to take them out; they're gonzo!). But I got tired of that. Then I had 3 of the 4 in the sconce fail. Time out, no more halogens!I purchased a 6 pack of these, which are the same color (3000K) in the 40W equivalent size (4W), and these average out at $2.40 each. And instead of a 2,000 hour life, they have a quoted 30,000 hour life. Now I can't comment on life yet, but even if they only last 6 months at 12 hours a day, I'm still way ahead on both purchase price and energy cost. And if in fact they last 30,000 hours, well, that's about 7 years from now. And my life cycle cost will be far, far lower. So long, halogens!!
