YUCUN 2.5 inch SATA III Internal Solid State Drive 120GB SSD

An inexpensive way to make a Windows to go drive, Speed is pretty good too. I chose this drive because it was the cheapest 120GB SSD at the time. So I expected some drawbacks. But so far it's running really well and I don't see any difference in performance compared to my brand named drives, If there is any difference, it's negligible. I would have given it 5 stars, but the SATA connection on the drive is slightly thicker than other drives, It just resisted a little bit more than I'm used to during installations. But it will fit.

Despite other reviews I gave this SSD a try.I mean what could go wrong?All SSDs are basically the same, right?This item arrived in a plastic bag.It looked used, no retail packaging at all.Looks like maybe someone ordered a bulk lot of these from some manufacturer in China, and had them branded.I pulled it out and tested it on my Macbook Pro:Nothing at all - NothingTried the PC, same thing - NothingReturned.Spend five dollars more and get another one

The 120 GB hard drive I bought came in defective, it's not detected on my PC. I wanted this to be the boot drive for my daughters new PC I built but no. Just go with a trustworthy brand instead if you want to avoid the hassle of returning the product for refund.
