RocketBus Car Cassette Adapter

This product does work. But there are some issues and fixes I think customers should know. For one, yes it is kind of loud, the gears it uses are loud compared to others however this is fixable by removing gears that are not needed or by adding oil to them. However people make it sound very loud, and it's not. That brings me to my next point. Some cars have issues playing it because of its auto rewind. I was able to temporarily fix this by simply flipping it over to the 2nd side when it had issues playing on the first. However, this can be permanently fixed by removing the mechanism all together. Some complain about the sound not going through both speakers, if this happens then just twist the 3.5mm plug that goes into the device and it will fix it. Most of these issues I don't personally have with mine. The auto rewind is a pain but the soft clicking noise isn't a problem for me since I usually listen to music at a reasonable volume and if you are able to hear the clicking over the music then you probably can't hear the music all to well so you might as well turn it off at that point. Its very good for the price. Not the best, but for 8$ you can't complain.

It does it’s job in the way that it does play the music. The way it plays the music is a bit problematic though.If you have your music playing quietly, you can clearly hear what sounds like the tape rewinding, and it doesn’t stop. It’s a constant noise.Also, when it does play the music, sometimes it will only play through half the speakers in the car, not all of them. I’ve tried taking it out and putting it back in, but the problem always resurfaced.All in all, you could probably find a better product.

Wish I would of read the reviews before purchasing this!! My cassette player in my truck would not take it, it played music for about 5 seconds. Tried it in my buddies truck and it worked for 2 minutes. This is the biggest waste of money!! Save your $10 and buy another companies cassette adapter because you’ll end up throwing this one away the day after you purchased it!! RocketBus produces pure junk!! I will never purchase anything from RocketBus again!!!!

My phone thinks this is a headset and so slight jiggling will cause songs to pause and skip. I've found this issue happens with cheap headphones a lot. I purchased this product years ago and it did not have this issue, so unfortunately the design must have changed a bit. Mine has a small loose component inside that makes some noise sometimes which can be annoying if music is low volume. When it plays, though, the sound quality is fine.

Wish I could give this item "0" stars. It didn't work from the start. I wish I had read reviews before purchasing. Simply doesn't work. I've owned several of these cassette adapters. They rarely last more than a year. This one is the worst I've ever purchased. Wish I could return it.

WHATEVER YOU DO. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM. It does not work and sound is completely distorted. This person is awful for selling items like this and not offering a refund. COMPLETE GARBAGE. YOU ARE SCUM.

Because this product was pretty cheap, I guess I’m getting what I paid for. The sound quality isn’t perfect but I can only really notice it getting fuzzy when I have the volume turned up somewhat loud. About eight months after purchasing this, I’ve started to have some technical issues, where there’s lots of static that replaces the music. Definitely worth the buy though for how inexpensive it is.

This was a horrible purchase. The chord shorts so much that you cannot use it. The sound quality is very poor..was bought as a gift but it turned out useless to the person..do not buy!
