What is the biggest size it will fit around a child?

I have a large 6 year old and I believe the adjustable straps would fit around her. You can wear it with the straps crossed in the back if you are going to wear the stuffed animal on the front of you or you can uncross the straps which would make them longer and just wear them straight over your shoulders like a backpack if you want to wear it on the back.

There’s not one picture of the back of it. How does it clip in the back?

I bought them for my granddaughters so I don’t have one to look at but I believe they clip on the sides. They’re very good quality and I definitely recommend these.

Is it big enough for a 12 year old?

I don’t think so. It was a good fit for 5 through 7. Maybe if the child is very slight. Have you it considered an actual baby carrier?

Will this item fit a thin 9 year old ? And can it hold a 22 inches reborn doll?
