I received one of these for free, as a premium that came with buying some pipe tobacco. I figured it to be a disposable thing like a corncob. In actuality it is a fine smoking, nicely grained little thing, and would have been a tremendous bargain at its full retail price. I'm sure there are fills in the briar, it lacks the perfect alignment and engineering of pipes ten times its cost, and I don't care for acrylic stems (which many very high grade pipe makers prefer; its a matter of taste). But it smokes like a champ, has nice grain and shape; it just feels good.Buy one with full confidence you have found a bargain that hits well above its weight level.
