Great tasting golden ale
Bought it when on offer at Xmas - 2 for £20, absolute bargain for a delicious beer that tastes great from this mini keg. Unfortunately way to easy to consume within a very short time of opening. Would definitely recommend when on offer.

Tasty
Bought for my brother in law who said it was a really nice tasting beer and he thoroughly enjoyed it. One thing to note though, it does say it's best drank within 3 days of opening, not a problem for my brother in law but just be aware if its for an occasional drinker.

Never again
Poor! I am drinking that beer for long but I never order a mini keg. Beer has a metal aroma and taste like a metal. I read about rust in some mini keg and I think it is here...brown dust on head

A bit heady...
Beer tasted great. When I could get it into a pint glass and not all over the carpet, that is.There seems to be no good way to pour a pint without getting a head that fills at least half the glass, and usually more like 90% until you're several pints in. Which is a shame because when you get to drink your half-pint-in-a-pint-glass the beer quality is good (as you'd expect).Maybe I was unlucky and the Hen was a bit excitable.Update: I've just tried the Bombardier which comes in an identical keg, and the difference is amazing. The first point was about 50% head but easily controlled with no spillage, and after that the pressure dropped very quickly to the point that the seal on top of the keg needed opening. For comparison, the Golden Hen was far harder to control after several pints were taken out, it was never possible to get less than 50% froth and never reached the point where the top seal needed removing. This does all point towards a dodgy keg, although it didn't taste "off".

Does what it says on the tin
Beer was nice.Spout on canister was terrible and leaked a lot in use.Could easily fit in a fridge,.... if shelves and food removed.
