Works well
Engine management light on due to reduced flow in the egr. Used this can as directed, oh boy what a nerve racking experience. Into limp mode. Lots of active faults MAF sensors etc. But trust the process, remove fault codes on your scan tool. Test drive and clear the codes again afterwards. Worked a treat on my 16 volvo d3

Cleans as it says
Used to clean MAF & MAP sensor on discovery 3 and did the trick with no effort. Highly recommended if you need a clean in these areas as cleans all the crud off with ease.

after use, you need to change your oil
I haven't used it yet as I noticed in the instructions it recommends changing your engine oil after use. This makes sense, as if the spray removes the carbon gum off the sides of the parts, the dirty stuff is going to be floating in the oil before you change it - could easily cause wear and tear to the engine itself. As I'd just had an (expensive) oil change I decided to wait until just before the next oil change before using the spray.

Worked for me...
used on a 2016 320D that developed a rough tickover which in turn causes issues being as it's an auto...a right pain. I had a new EGR valve fitted just a few thousand miles ago after the same issues so assumed it needed a mild clean rather than removal, (this stuff wouldn't of sorted that valve I can tell you)! Followed the instructions to the letter and it seems to have cured the problem, the tickover is now silky smooth and there is no hesitation when revving, pulling away or accelerating. I'm lucky in that it's a relatively new EGR that hasn't covered many miles so can't vouch for it working on a heavily carbonised 100,000 mile car. Just to mention it takes quite a while to complete the second stage where the remaining contents of the can need using entirely, you'll need a non whinging 'my ankles hurting' volunteer to help you as the engine needs holding at approx. 1800 revs. I could of removed the valve and cleaned it properly but for now this has saved time and appears to of done the job.

Wow.....
So i own 3 cars (not expensive ones - i'm not rich at all) i used this on my Ford Mondeo ST tdci (it's a modified beast) one thing i had been meaning to do was blank my EGR as it isn't needed in a car and is only there to meet government legislations (according to my car enthusiast friends and mechanics) the EGR was choking my engine at gears 1 & 2 at approximately 1000 - 1750 RPM - basically when i was pulling off. I've been meaning to blank it out but £150 plus a remap (which is needed if making changes to something your ECU recognises) was too much for something small that bothered me. So I ordered a can because of bellowing reviews in and out of Amazon. I followed instructions to a tee and i was genuinely terrified when using this as it made my engine tick loudly and shake and make this very scary banging noise at each spray. It said it would at the back of the can. I thought i was going to kill my engine but persevered and about 10 mins and a can of this later i took it for a drive with my nephew (another car enthusiast) to put it into perspective, he asked me about 30 seconds into the drive if i had "fixed my car" lol my response was "there was nothing to fix. I cleaned the EGR valve" and he didn't believe me. One week on and no choking and smooth driving experience. Feels like a new car - no exaggeration. I've been a fan of Wynn's for a while now but this surpasses all their products. Buy it if you need your EGR valve cleaned. If you don't need it cleaned, buy it anyway because you'd be surprised at what it will do. Note: please be sure where your air intake is and where your EGR valve is. All you need to do is remove air filter and spray into manifold before the EGR and turbo (if you have one)Happy driving!
