The Dr Tone PSU10 power station is the perfect way to power up to ten of your guitar effect pedals all at once. This easy to use power station has eight standard 9V connectors, compatible with the vast majority of pedals, along with two additional connectors that are adjustable to 6, 8 or 12 volt outputs. The PSU10 is a solidly constructed power station with compact design; a must have accessory for any guitarist who uses multiple pedals. This great value power station comes with the required 9V mains adapter and “daisy chain” style connector cables. Please check the voltage of the pedals you with to use with the power station to ensure compatibility before use.

Make sure your pedals will work with it (check current draw mA)
It's not made apparent on the product description, but this power supply will only give out 60mA current draw per 9v pedal. This is fine for a good amount of, say, Boss or EHX 9v pedals. However there are a large range of pedals that will need a 80+ mA current draw to run. I would suggest checking the manuals for your pedals online to see exactly what their individual current draw is. I have a few 9v pedals that this unit sadly won't work with. Most of the simillar priced power supplies offer about 100mA per pedals, so not sure why this one is so low (perhaps due to its size). That aside, its a dinky power supply unit, and if you own smaller nano or Boss pedals it may be just right for you. I didn't really like the bright light when the unit is switched on, but thats just my preference.

10x 9V outputs!!!
My previous PSU had 8x 9V outputs, and dedicated 12V and 18V sockets taking up the final two slots - this has two slots that can be set to 6V, 9V, or 12V. My adjustable outputs are set to ‘9V’ and are currently powering a Tubescreamer & Polytune 2 - which are both 9V pedals - so no idea why it says ‘8V’ in the product description…It’s also very lightweight, and the varying length of connector leads mean that the wiring doesn’t need much tidying up. It’s more compact than other PSU units; around the same dimensions as a ‘standard’ Boss stompbox pedal. Finally, all of the connectors are right-angled, so you can cram your pedals together if you need to.I’ve only used this a couple of times - but there has been no issues or unwanted noise, and it’s powered up all the pedals I’ve tested it with: TC Electronic, Boss, Ibanez, Joyo, Mooer, Electro Harmonix, Dunlop, and Behringer.Superb value for money so far.

Nicely built, non-isolated pedal power.
Nice and compact with variable power output, but not isolated. The price, somewhere a daisy chain and high end supply, is fair enough. I found it reliable for analogue pedals that draw little current, but it won’t work for fancy digital pedals except on the 2 high amperage channels. It is not isolated so can still cause ground loops which hum and this may also may have been repsonsible for blowing the transistor in a homemade pedal.

bought one and it was great. It did break after a couple of weeks but Dawsons immediately sent a replacement and did not even want the old one back. Not sure about longevity but cannot fault the seller

Unreliable power supply.
First the good points: arrived well packaged, has good quality leads of varying sizes ans offers up to ten outputs. The bad point, and I'm afraid it's an overwhelming one, it didn't work reliably. The first time I tried to use it in a gig it overloaded after about five minutes, causing my effects to start switching on and off and making a terrible noise mid-performance. Swirching it off for ten minutes gave another five minutes of use before, once again, it overloaded. Bear in mind I was only using five of the potential ten 9v outputs when this happened. This my seem like a value for money option, but it's a false economy.

Great Purchase!
Very nice little unit, being its no bigger than a conventional stomp box it fits very nicely under my pedal board, no humming or buzzing its a very clean power source. May buy a second one in fact!
