Long term updateWhile generally stable the device does have a few quirks and crashes very occasionally.The main issue is ergonomics - I find I get serious neck ache using this for more than 10 minutes.The best way to use it is rather like a large phone and hold in one hand and type/touch with the other.This is fine for short term use.I've actually switched to a Microsoft Surface Pro I got on discount. The ergonomics are much better though I remain impressed by ability to hold a full windows PC in one hand!Its very niche - and if it meets your needs I think you'll be happy with it. But a daily use laptop replacement - I'm not sure about that.***** Original Review ****All of the bad reviews on here are for other GPD items.My brief review is about the GPD Pocket PC - which is brilliant!My needs are a bit niche. I wanted a computer that was small enough to carry around with me for answering occasional business emails while away from the office.I find typing on tablets and phones hard work. I could have bought an iPad Pro and a keyboard but its still quite a large device for something carried around for occasional use. Also I never find switching between tasks ( say from email, to a word processor, to a spreadsheet and back again ) that intuitive or easy.Then I discovered this amazing device!Well made - feels like a mini MacBook. Great screen - readable even in bright sun. And the keyboard is, even its small size, fairly easy to use.Speedwise its not nippy but for the size is acceptable.From an ergonomic point of view there's no way this will replace my full sized laptop. Nor would I like to try and run lots of processor intensive software on it - it'd most likely grind to a halt!But for general emailing, short word documents and a bit of spreadsheet stuff its amazing given its size.One issue was it wouldn't connect to 2.4Ghz wifi networks. This turns out to be down to one of the config files needing the country changing from US to X2. Once I did this it connects fine. This is how I fixed it:"GPD Win can't detect some of the Wi-Fi networks (in Europe) By default GPD Win has disabled WiFi channels 12 and 13. To enable them edit the following file: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\4356r2nvram.txt and change ccode to X2"

Bought it alongside my GPD. GPD does NOT fit in this case at all. Not happy. Waste of money - and a shame as the case is actually rather nice.

Lanyard fell apart after literally a few minutes use - very poor quality!

Prodotto all'apparenza potente e comodo, ma l'unica cosa di veramente utile sono le dimensioni che gli permettono di essere portato ovunque con scarsi risultati. Innanzitutto trattasi di un CDP (poket) con processore Atom provate a riempire l'hard disk quasi completamente non girera" piu' alcun applicativo. Si surriscalda molto di piu' della sua versione piu' economica che inoltre ha una batteria che ha una maggiore durata rispetto a questo versione che avrebbe dovuto essere piu' vantaggiosa e curata nei dettagli. Si scarica molto velocemente, percio' dotatevi di un power Bank di almeno 30000 amo se viaggiate e vi servisse a pieno regime d'uso. Il costo troppo alto decisamente e' sempre ripeto un processore Atom io ho risparmiato 50 euro troppo poco sconto per le caratteristiche possedute da questo pezzo rispetto alla versione a 2 Gb. Il touch e' reattivo ma troppo troppo piccolo per essere usato da chi ha le mani troppo grandi. Se provate ad usare la tastiera virtale forse ci guadagnate rispetto alla tastiera con i caratteri davvero piccoli. Mouse poco reattivo a volte si impalla o non risponde rapidamente... probabile difetto?Scheda audio veramente scarsa, si sente tutto a volume troppo basso, bisogno di usare casse esterne da viaggio o una cuffia da 3,5 mm per sentire film o musica. Altra pecca la versione Windows Home originale preinstallato sulla macchina, se volessi cambiare software dovrei trovare la versione per questo Atom perche' e' come installare Windows su un tablet! Molto complicato! Poi passiamo ai connettori hardware:" Ho rispedito indietro la versione piu' economica di circa 100 euro, costa in offerta mi pare 489 euro, perche' difettoso. Questa macchina monta una porta usb 3.0 solamente, pezzo cinese che temo si possa rompere in qualunque momento forzando anche leggermente la pressione in inserimento di qualche periferica. Non ha web Cam! E Dulcis in fundo nella parte inferiore dell'involucro in alluminio e' vistosa una specie di avvallamento procurato probabilmente da una errore di Stampa in fase di creazione e assemblaggio del PC poket che ho notato da subito e ho lasciato stare perche" ho deciso di tenere il PC ugualnente ripeto solo per via del fatto che rispetto a molti PC meno costosi ma piu' grandi con monitor da 13.3 pollici questo e' davvero competitivo per dimensioni. Tuttavia sono molto deluso per ora, spero di scoprire usandolo almeno un altro paio di cose positive e comode di questo prodottino di terza o quarta categoria. Vi sconsiglio di acquistarlo se non per la comodita' del suo trasporto. Infine arriva senza custodia di pelle cinese che dovrete comprare a parte tralaltro molto scomoda e arrivata anche in ritardo da un venditore cinese. In dotazione nel pacco solo alimentatore e cavo usb 3c e cuffie. Bella la confezione in cui vi arriva! Voto 2 su cinque

Etui acheté pour ma GPD XD plus, j'en suis très content.Il est rigide et de bonne qualité.Je recommande.

Vendeur très bien, reçut dans un carton plus emballage de la belle d'origine très bien aussi...Passon a l'essencielle...Alors là, c'est vraiment cool comme pc.Je commence par le moin bien:disign est un peut tristela manette aide un peut mais on va préférer la navigation au tactile les jeux avec cette manette faut aimer. (Stick psvita ou game pad jxd peut-être car la, le R3 et L3 lol quoi)même reproche que pour la shield nvidia k1 la batterie pour des vrais truc cool puré passer au 10 000mAh s'il vous plait sur tous qu'il y a la place.Le son mouais passable un bon partennaire sonis jbl y a que le choix puré en mini son dolbi truc chouétte...(Pas obliger de overcloc pour de bonne perf) Bref sela dit sa reste un bon petit monstre, et ayant overclock pour ma part c'est encore meilleur, je pence que les videos sur le net parles d'elles mêmes. Nombreux titre dessu portable de sûr croix. Cool vraiment. J'attend qu'un mec face un watercooling dessu lol. Et pourquoi pas? A non le proce et juste en dessous du clavier pas asser de place hummm.... grrrr....Ps: j'ai une 256Go sd card dedans, sa marche très bien pour moi.
