Excellent quality bit holder - recommended
Love this product. Holds the screw on well (assuming it's steel). Gripping the barrel when turning the screw to gives great control. Well made, solid steel heft to it.Been using mine heavily for 7 years now in a drill, still going strong. The magnet has lost most of its plating (chrome?) but doesn't affect the function so far.Note that this is not impact rated, you'll probably damage the magnet. And it's no use for burying screws deeply as others have noted, the magnet will bottom out on the wood surface (arguably, this is a "feature" as it allows you to countersink to the right depth an no more).Anything that could be improved? As always, yes. Removing the bits by sliding the sleeve forward feels a bit fiddly sometimes, if you're in a hurry with big fingers. Not been disappointed with a wera tool yet. They have a mind-boggling selection so I recommend you cross reference with their website to ensure you're getting what you think you're buying (lots of confused people around the 6mm vario range for exampleGreat product, recommended.

Best of it’s kind
The media could not be loaded. This eliminates the need for another hand when screwing long or heavy screws. The magnet is strong and bits are locked into place and unlocked with a simple and smooth slide back or forward of the sleeve in the bit holder.

good holder and the magnet works well
this solved my problem of keep dropping screws when trying to fix things around house. the magnet is quite strong and hold the screws well. Highly recommend it.

Spot on Strong hold
Really well made adaptor that has really strong hold for iron based screws.remember stainless steel and brass are not magnetic.wher you have a lot of screw driving to do or screws ar in awkward or fiddly places this adaptore is fantastic.you can be confident that it will hold screw firmly once placed on the ring magnet , leaving both hands free to operate drill and/or work piece.great, love it, really top quality.

This adaptor is brilliant!
At first I was a bit confused as the bit seemed to be too deep in the adaptor with only a small bit poking out, but after using it I realised that this was so the adaptor could hold on to the screw. This adaptor grips the screw very firmly - theres a click when the screw is fixed to the adaptor and off you go! I use it all the time, excellent bit of kit. The magnet is very, very strong so you probably shouldnt have it in your pocket with your cards! Not that the magnetic strips are used that much now we have chip and pin, but still!

Good but limited in use.
If all your screwing needs are at a 90 degree angle then you wont go far wrong with this. I am a Carpenter and bought one of these as it looked perfect for what I need, in theory sadly not in practice. The trouble is if you want to do a 'skew' screw at an angle to the timber, then this is literally useless as the edge of the ring magnet will hit the timber before the screw is able to be sunk home. I want a bit holder that I can put and leave in my drill/impact and forget about. If you're a site chippy I can promise you this will not be it.It's well made and is a good idea and for some will have its uses however it's just not for me.

One of the best impact driver accessories I've bought - should've got one sooner!
I'm part-way through a garden building project and saw one of these in use on a YouTube video. Why I didn't buy one sooner I don't know! It makes positioning screws one-handed a piece of cake and, provided you centre the screw correctly on the magnetic ring, does the job extremely well. It even holds on to extracted screws too. Given it's length it will only take short (25mm) driver bits but given those are what most people use it shouldn't be an issue.Basically, if you use an impact or drill-driver and don't have one of these (or something similar) get one!
