My husband and I were the Maitlands, Adam and Barbara, from Beetlejuice for Halloween and this dress was great! I’m really glad I went one size up because Barbara’s dress fits a little loose on her. I wanted to mimic that appearance and was successful. I was also concerned about the length because I’m barely 5 ft but it actually turned out perfect. The dress rests right below my knees. Fabric is light weight and very comfortable! The fabric texture is not itchy. Overall qualify if super good. Stitching is very well done and the dress is sturdy. I’m so impressed!

This is THE Beetlejuice Barbara dress. Perfect in every way...except...you guessed it...one star off for SIZING. Why have we accepted it as normal that we have to buy two or three sizes larger than stated, just to get it to maybe fit? There's no way the XXL is for a 46 chest. No way. And as others have said, the cut of the waist is not long enough, leading to a very odd fit look. I would suggest going up at least 2 sizes, but if you're at the larger end, that's not possible at some point. That said, the material is better than I was expecting for the price. And the look really is spot on. I am using this on a mannequin anyway for Halloween, so thankfully the sizing didn't matter as much. But if you're wearing this, don't worry about it being see through or shoddy.

This is the perfect replica of the dress Barbara wears in the movie. It doesn’t have the best fit unfortunately. Too tight in the chest and the cut at the waist makes your bottom half look much bigger. Not meant for women with larger chests. Wish I could have worn it for Halloween.

Fit as expected. Looks like Barbara's dress. I'd recommend this to anyone wanting to be Barbara for Halloween.

Well made. It's perfect and if you purchase a size up you can put warmer clothing underneath as the material is very thin. I like the fact that it is longer. I am 5'6", 115 and purchased a size L.

I think it’s pretty accurate to Barbara maitland’s costume in beetlejuice. My 5 year old goddaughter immediately recognized it when I tried it on lol. My only issues with it are definitely sizing and quality. I usually wear small or medium for dresses but saw other reviews and made sure to size up with a large. Still just barely fits comfortably. A little tightness around the arm and chest area but nothing too terrible. Also quite sheer so be sure to wear light colored undergarments. Definitely won’t mind having to wear it for a trunk or treat event and Halloween this year!

I have bought 4 dresses now because I couldn't find one online or in stores that was the actual Barbara dress, and none of them were it. Just actual dresses that kinda "looked" like it but didn't really work.FINALLY Amazon had this one listed and it was actually Prime! Got here in 2 days and it's PERFECT! Well made and comfortable, which is great because I have to wear it all night.
