I even put it together during a power cut at night by candlelight! It's such a cool piece of equipment and looks beautiful left out In my kitchen !You can move it to your requirements,it has 2 places to put canvases and you can lay it flay to pour on acrylic inks etc.Well worth the money !

A fantastic addition to my studio
This is a great easel. It doesn't take up too much space in my small studio and allows me to have several paintings drying at the same time. Easy to wheel around with the big wheels and is very sturdy.I gave a four for the assembly as you need to pay attention to the instructions to ensure all the bits and pieces go on at the right time.I really like the fact that you can lay this easel down like a table to help you varnish on a flat surface. The only downside for me is the very top stopper for the canvas. It's rather large and creates a shadow, but most easels do this. I turned this stopper around to create a drying shelf at the back and I use a clamp to stop my painting substrate to keep in position.A great buy.

Great Easel - love Meeden
I have just finished my garden art studio and furnished with Meeden desk/easel, art trolley and the multi media versatile easel which I received yesterday (see photos). I wanted something I could use for drawing as well as canvas work and something that I could display finished work on or a place for leaving my calligraphy work to dry.People have said it’s difficult to assemble. It is actually easy, but you need to be patient and study pictures carefully on the instructions, paying attention to fine detail like screw holes on the picture. There isn’t much to assemble out of the box and it took me 45 mins taking my time. I certainly recommend as it is very versatile and solid - great it has wheels to move it around my studio. I recommend!

Great quality easel but some of set up was a pain!
Now that my easel is all set up, I really like it! Seems like great quality and sturdy overall.Set up was generally straightforward apart from the fact that I couldn’t get the adjustment parts down the main part of the easel (which is the main part already assembled) - however, they did not assembleThis correctly which meant I had to take it apart and reassemble for the adjustment parts to fit.I’ve attached a pic of this for reference.

Sturdy and versatile
This easel is made well!. Its construction has a lot of thought behind it. A few people however might find it difficult to assemble, but if you follow the guide carefully, you'll achieve it within 30 minutes or so. The other downside is that there's a few knobs to turn to get your desired position, but I find that you rarely need to alter your perfect position once you find it.The wood finish is excellent and sturdy. The articulation is great and has a professional feel to it. Definitely worth the price as the easel can be versatile. You can achieve many positions from vertical to horizontal, as well as, adjust the height to suit your needs. Small to very large canvases can be mounted on this easel, so it's an investment for the budding artist who wishes to progress to bigger projects, or studio work. It doubles up as an exhibition stand too, so it's multifunctional. It's definitely not a cheap choice, but if you want that little bit more from your easel, then consider this one.

Not on a par with Daler Rowney
Not particularly easy to assemble, but well made and nicely finished wood.I needed an additional smaller H-Frame easel for my studio, and this was just right. My other, much larger H-Frame easel was by DR and came fully assembled, and frankly, a much better product!

Excellent easel
After years of using a flimsy cheap easel this one is a revelation. It's well engineered, very sturdy and stable, made of excellent materials and is very versatile in terms of size of picture and positioning. I have used it with the the painting both vertical and horizontal, and any angle in between is possible. It's straightforward to assemble and the necessary instructions and tools - screwdriver and spanner - are provided.Highly recommended.
