What a huge difference the two inch topper made. I’ll start at the beginning. My husband took a job in a different city so we have a split household for a year. In an effort to keep cost down he bought an inexpensive queen innerspring mattress from Ikea that came rolled up. I went for a visit and the mattress was so hard I feel fairly certain the flintstones had a softer mattress than the one he got. It was so bad that I actually slept two nights in the garage in the car because I felt like the bed was bruising me!I really didn’t want to have to spend a fortune on a new mattress that will likely be ditched in a year so I decided to try this topper. I really had a hard time deciding between the two and three inch topper. However, even though I thought bigger might be better on the rock bed, my mom has a three inch one of another brand on her bed and I hate it because I feel like I’m in quicksand, so I decided to take my chances on the two inch topper.I could not be happier. The two inch topper is absolutely prefect. I also added an overfilled polyfill topper. I had such a fantastic sleep in that bed, that I’m thinking of ordering one for our king size bed just to refresh it. My husband did say it had a very slight smell once it was unrolled but he left it in another room for three days and said the smell was completely gone when he got around to putting it on the bed. Do not hesitate to get this topper if you have an overly firm mattress that needs to be softer. It is the perfect combination of soft, and supportive.

I bought this topper because I often have to spend a week at a time sleeping in a hospital call room bed. Unsurprisingly, the call room bed is uncomfortable, so I thought bringing a topper may help improve the situation. Upon taking it out of the box, I was concerned because there were large sections in the middle that appeared crush. Fortunately, within an hour, the mattress topper had expanded more evenly. By the time I used it that night, it was pretty even. I placed the topper on I believe a Full size bed, and the length is not excessive. After sleeping on it for a couple nights, I did find improvement in the comfort of the call room bed. I didn't feel hot, and I didn't feel like I was sinking completely into quick sand. I still had a little ache when I woke up, but I usually wake up with even more significant aches. Given that I did find improved comfort with the topper and it did eventually expand up, I am giving it 4 stars. I will update my review if things start to get smushed, though I will only be using this topper a few times a year. I still enjoy the comfort of my own bed (Casper mattress actually).

Wow I love this topper! My sleep is so much more peaceful with no discomfort! I sleep on a firm foam mattress I got at ikea. It was my first bed after getting married, and we didn't have a lot of money so we got a cheap foam mattress that was easy to get into our apartment. We then bought a foam topper since the foam mattress was much too firm. That works for many years but I always would wake up with pain in my hips and shoulders. As a side sleeper, I needed something with more support.When I stay at my parent's house, they have a fold out couch bed and had bought a gel topper just like this one to place on top. Even then, I never felt the bed's springs or bar because of this topper! I got the best sleep because of it, and that's when I decided to get my own! (FYI, this will NOT fit folded in a pull out couch. You would have to fold it once, come back in half and hour when the mattress flattens, fold again and repeat. It's not worth damaging that way either.Since I bought this, I've had the best sleep, comfort, and rest I've ever had! I bought the 3" and I will never look back :)

So I am pregnant and when you’re pregnant everything hurts. My hips were so sore at night despite sleeping with a pregnancy pillow I kept waking up sore. One night at 5am I had enough of the restless nights and sore hips. I searched amazon and bought this based on the positive reviews. I 100% hands down recommend this topper! I don’t wake up with sore hips anymore.. it’s sooo comfortable. My husband enjoys it too. He said “It’s so comfortable that I overslept and didn’t have time to work out before work!” I read a review from another reviewer that said the topper has a strong odor. That was NOT the case for mine. Pregnancy heightens my sense of smell and immediately after I cut open the package I inspected it and kind of expected a strong odor.. there was none! I think either the other review has a super human sense of smell or some how got unlucky. Don’t let their review put you off from buying this heavenly cloud of a mattress topper. Your aching body will thank you! I do not regret this 5am pregnancy insomnia purchase! I would buy it a thousand times over again! It’s worth every penny!

I can rarely sleep longer than 4 hours due to my lower back and even though complete pain does not obviously go away, I just woke up from 7 hrs of sleep and I love how you can feel the topper mold to your body like a fragile doll's packaging. This is a product I would buy a thousand times over. The package it comes in is light, the topper comes rolled up and you just unroll it and you can watch it right in front of your eyes fluff up and it is easy to move around the bed without worry of tearing it as the heavier toppers can. Now I have a cat that loves to sleep with me and he loved it so I have a bamboo waterproof cover for it to protect it. Do not worry about the swiss cheese look to the topper, that seems to be a great feature and only contributes to the quality of it. at this point, I gave all 5 stars even in the pain because for a simple product for your bed- it deserves it.
