FortrezZ FTS05US Z-Wave Plus Flood & Temperature Sensor - US; Cert ID: ZC10-17065641

I have purchased these devices several times over the last couple of years to use on my Nexia system. I. Needed more due to failure and when I got these latest version, it would not work with my Nexia system. It was 38 days from when I purchased them on Amazon from FortrezZ until I could install them at my cabin. When it would not install properly, I sent an email for support and they said it no longer supported NEXIA AND BECAUSE IT WAS OVER 30 days I couldn’t get a refund! So they sold me $150 worth of water detectors that no longer work with Nexia and would not refund my money. Terrible!!! Avoid at all costs!!!

This is one of the worst z-wave device I ever got. Hard to configure, losing connection every a couple of hour even on short distance, Advertised as Z-wave plus but works as previous version. It might be a hardware issue. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it.

Added to network in a few minutes using Vera app. Detected test leak twice on countertop and sent out notification within seconds. Reports temperature. Set additional notifications for low temp and battery on Vera website. So far so good.

Unlike seemingly identical units I purchased previously, this water sensor cannot be installed in a NEXIA home security system. The seller should mention this in the product description.

This product works as specified with the Nexia Home Automation Bridge, reporting Temperature & Leak Alert conditions. I have this next generation Z-Wave Plus device installed with Fortrezz 1st Generation Devices and they all work with the same capabilities.

Got this for a vera plus ..I have the non zwave version and it works and shows battery status and temp status but noticed it sends false alerts so i said i would avoid the Fortezz water sensors in the future...Well i have been seeing the zwave plus version and zwave plus is better as of batteries lasting a lot longer and faster reporting i ended up buying it...The Fortezz zwave plus version i bought from Vera directly does not work at all with my vera plus as of now..I am going to call tech support cause is they sell it on there site it is suppose to work in all aspects..I installed it and uninstalled it four times and tried changing the files with no luck...plus it does not report temp nor battery...As of now i dont recommend...

I could not get Samsung's Smartthings Hub to include it as a Flood Sensor. I excluded and included the device several times. Every time was include as a Motion Sensor and did nothing. I can not recommend this sensor for Smartthings, maybe it will work with other hubs.
