Fujifilm instax Wide 300 Camera + 50 Pack Film + Compatible Case

Very useful for rapid snapshots. Typical Medium Format pictures (DOF and such). A pity the only colour film is ISO 800. I would prefer 100 if I could get it (for the fine detail resolution). The lens (quoted focal length 90mm) is a traditional wide angle lens (135 equivalent of about 35mm). This camera is clearly designed for close up work as the lens opens up at the short range setting when powered up, and it is very easy to forget to change to the longer range. The supplied close up lens seems to work well, but a fair bit of experimentation is needed to get the framing right as it it VERY dependant on camera to subject distance and the indicator on the close up lens is only accurate at about 1 meter. Generally a very good camera, but I would suggest a digital compact in macro mode would do better for very short range.

Works OK in good light but in anything else the flash is useless unless you are really close. Many of the shots have just come out black, was really hoping for something a little better than this. So will only come out in the summer I guess.

We love it and use it in special occasions. The flash is a bit tricky but other than that it’s amazing!
