Not fully tested but OK so far
This Blu-ray drive came complete, as shown and is working well for just over a week now. I have not had chance to use the Blu-ray facilities yet but when I do I shall be happy to provide a supplementary report. The included software was instrumental in my choice and it has all installed OK but I found that 3 additional items were out of date and only trial versions - which could be upgraded at a substantial discount. The main Cyberlink software seems to be genuine enough and has registered with no problem.

BRILLIANT piece of kit that does exactly what it says ...
bought this to replace an ASUS drive which turned out to be a coaster maker.but this Pioneer drive has not failed yet, BRILLIANT piece of kit that does exactly what it says on the tin. Bundled software is well out of date but does work. If you can get it as a bare drive well worth the money.

Does exactly what it is supposed to
easy enough to install, even with short power lead. software is quite comprehensive, and does what is expected of it.reasonably fast at both read & write, with good results even when burning at top speeds.I have always liked and trusted the Pioneer range, and this is no exception

Think twice about paying for an old out of date media suite.
Nice hardware but with "Media suite 10" an amazing flop. End game; stick to MS "media player", if you lucky enough to have it, or spend £'s to upgrade to "media suite 12". On the funny side after you install the creative media suite 10 software, which I estimate cost about £38.00, creative are not slow in telling one how rubbish "media suite 10 is" - Upgrade now, for loads more cash!!, is their solution.
