Great Bottle for on the go, but isn't intended to take the place of your beloved Camelbak/ Nalgene/ Hydroflask
This will not replace your beloved Camelbak/ Nalgene bottle that has traveled without all across the globe. In fact, it's a little strange to hold and when fully extended is a pretty weird shape. This product is not intended to be your go to everyday bottle nor a fashion statement. Instead it's a very handy bottle that you can take with you and is so small you may forget it's even there. I ordered mine for a trip to Disney and tucked it into a very small pocket on the book bag we brought. It worked well. You can extend just the top portion for a 12 ounce bottle or extend fully for a ~20 ounce bottle. The sides are rubbery, which means when you grip certain parts it gives a little. There is the branded outside ring that is solid and doesn't give though. The top needs to be aligned properly to prevent leaking, but if you do it right you shouldn't have any issues. Their is a small bit valve that the water comes out of that's pretty solid. When fully collapsed it is about the size of a hamburg bun. I leave mine in my backpack that I take with me when I'm on the go. A woman could do the same with a large purse. I recommend this for anybody going to a theme park or sporting event and wanting to escape paying $5 of more for water or for somebody that wants to hold on to a bottle just in case they need it.

This is a great water bottle
This is a great water bottle. I live in a subtropical climate and take medication that can accelerate dehydration, so I will get massive headaches if I don't drink enough water. I wanted to find a compact water bottle since I like to pack a small bag and commute by bike. I bought the black bottle a few months ago, gave it away to someone the other day, and bought a new blue one right away. It's pretty wild how many interested comments and compliments I've received for such a mundane item. It's truly compact and never leaks. Some tips: Don't scrub the bottle with abrasive sponges because it will scratch the silicone. Be aware that hard water and soap marks might get baked in if you do end up cleaning this in the dishwasher. The bottle will squirt out some water when you collapse it, but that's totally normal. Just do it over a sink or garbage or plant. There is a definite smell to these bottles, but it disappears over time. I put some soapy water and vinegar in my new bottle overnight, washed it in the morning, then filled it with water to absorb the vinegar and remaining plastic smell for the rest of the day. I have sensory sensitivities to many things, including weird smells and tastes, and I really like this water bottle. YMMV.

Didn't hold much water and while I loved how it collapsed
It was just okay. Didn't hold much water and while I loved how it collapsed, I didn't find it any more convenient than carrying around a regular bottle (especially when filled with water). It is well made though and didn't feel cheap at all.

Perfect for traveling
I love this water bottle! I spent six weeks in Paris on a study abroad trip and I knew that I would need a good water bottle for the trip. Not only is it cute but it is extremely convenient! I usually filled it up and stuck it in the fridge to keep the water cool before heading out into town. It fit perfectly into my purse or book bag every day! As you drink there is room so I would collapse it little by little. And by the time it was empty it didn’t take up any room unlike a normal water bottle!Sadly I forgot it in my hotel room when I left Paris, but I fully intend to order a new one! That’s how much I loved this bottle!

I like the concept very much
I like the concept very much. In the 21oz configuration it fits great in cup holders, and in the 12 oz, its really, really stable. Both configurations hold their shape just fine. Its as compact as can be flat, and it doesn't pop open by accident. In practice it is obviously (and necessarily) flexible. In order to be collapsible yet watertight, it doesn't have a mechanism to release internal pressure. This means it resists sucking on the straw - you have to squeeze the container to get a drink. When you do, the container collapses a bit and is flexible enough that it doesn't necessarily pop all the way back into shape, without another squeeze or two (one handed). That's minor enough that I use the product anyway, especially for traveling even short distances in the car.

Interesting concept but fails in actual use
I've been fairly disappointed in the operation of this item:- It is difficult to seal the water bottle tightly when it is newly filled and the lid needs to be screwed back on, as there is flex in the bottle..- With the lid tightly sealed, and then drinking from the bottle, the nozzle does not permit a clean flow of liquid without dripping off the nozzle. There is strange balance of how much to squeeze the bottle vs sucking to get the flow proper.- To open the Nozzle, it is necessary to pry it open with your finger, and your finger (which may be dirty) goes right on the mouth opening.- The bottle is heavy, relatively speaking, for a bottle designed for travel for the amount of liquid it can hold.At this point, I have ceased using it and returned to using the Vapur Element Bottle, which is far lighter, easier to fill, more sanitary in every day use, easier to open/close. Further, the Vapur Element holds more liquid and is lower cost.

As something intended to add convenience, a rather ironic choice of material in its design for drinking...
The material is the kind which absorbs whatever it comes into contact with and taints the taste (along with what it imparts itself) any drink that you put it in afterwards (particularly noticeable, perhaps obviously, with water). It may be "dishwasher safe" in the sense I guess of holding up, but it certainly isn't with respect to drinking from it. This renders it absolutely useless, as with every method possible to get rid of it, the "soap flavor" (along with it's slight but noticeable rubber flavor) just doesn't come out. This thing requires special treatment and attention (drinking only water and handwashing with water), and even then I'd be uncomfortable with the fact that I'm drinking from a container which imparts a taste like that. In that sense, for the convenience it is intended to have, it ends up rather being quite the opposite...

Muy útil
Muy útil. La llevo en la bolsa casi siempre vacía, ya q en cualquier grifo la conviertes en botella.

Fits into a cup holder in a car, compresses to fit in your pocket. It has a rubber feel. The top unscrews for filling. In the top is a hinged mouthpiece for drinking.
