Works as intended

Purchased this unit as a replacement router to run OpenWRT and multiple VPN services. Aside from having to use a snapshot release (OpenWRT not officially supported yet) it works extremely well and is extremely fast. Setup was a breeze. No issues as of yet, so currently 5/5 stars.

Do not buy. No upgrade path!

0-Stars. I recommend AGAINST getting this device, unless you wish to get stuck with a super difficult FriendlyWRT (not so friendly) upgrade path, where you must destroy your entire configuration in order to do so. The manufacturer does not provide push-button upgrades like OpenWRT does. I complaoned several times to the manufacturer and no fix. I don't want a device I can't easily upgrade like you can with regular OpenWRT devices. This is 2024. Do not buy.
