Having read all the reviews on tower heaters both on Amazon and Which, I despaired of ever finding a good reliable one. Their is also the issue of what they look like - silver and black does not do it for me. But the best looking one, a De Longhi, clearly has some fundamental issues- despite being Which's best buy. Then I found this one - with no reviews, but it was only £38.40 - nearly a third of the price of the De Longhi. At that price I could afford the risk, and it was White.It is brilliant. It has all the best features - it is ceramic, it oscillates, it has a remote control which you can tuck away in its body when not in use.... it has 2 power settings 2000w and 1100w , variable fan speed, a timer in hour increments and the usual safety features of thermal overload and a tip over switch which is not over sensitive and best of all it does not get hot.We use it in a sun lounge which doubles as a play room, so needs heating in the winter. We just put it on when the children come round and hey presto, it heats the room up quickly, quietly and safely. It is brilliant, and the children love playing with the remote.........

One of my best ever purchases, 5 stars all round.I saw this particular Ceramic Tower Fan with remote control for the first time very recently, as a re-branded item from an excellent item I had earlier purchased from a very well known High Street diy superstore.I am well pleased with my original purchase (which is still working hard on a daily basis).To see this same item, albeit for a minor upgrade (this new model now includes an ioniser ....it reduces some of the dust and other impurities in the air, electronically) AND at a reduced price from my original store-bought purchase, well I just had to order one so that I could have one upstairs as well as downstairs.Delivery was prompt and my new purchase has been working away merrily for the past few days.If its long-term reliability is as good as its older though visibly identical (but for the Brand logo) model, then I will be 100% very pleased with this purchase for a long time to come.

Ok but does not have a very powerful fan unless it is meet not working it correctly

So if you get one that works its very good but i have had to by 3 to get one that works 1st dead on arrivel 2nd worked 3rd spued black toxic smoke out on 1st start up.

Ordered late Sunday delivered early Monday - so far very impressed, quick heat, stylish product relatively quieter than the unit it is replacing and the ability to remote control oscillation and temperature is great

We live in a barn so this does the trick heats up any room quick and i carry it easily from one room to another...thinking of getting another so we have 2

Temperature display is useless says its 19c but the room temp was actually 10c contacted the company who told me this was “ normal “ instruction book mentions a mesh filter to prevent dust etc entering the unit, mine doesn’t have one. Thermostat doesn’t work properly either. Very disappointed!!
