An unimpressive decaf; drinkable, but lacks richness
I'm not terribly impressed with this decaf. While nearly any decaf falls a bit short when it comes to a full, rich taste, this falls quite short. Even though I take my coffee without milk/cream, this didn't have much richness or fullness to the flavor. It was pretty flat, and had some sourish notes in the aftertaste. I brewed it as a pour over and in a French Press. The flavor was a bit fuller in the French Press but still nothing to shout about. The roast level is more of a medium/dark than a true medium. The beans are fairly uniform in size and there were only a few broken ones that I noticed. The aroma in the bag was quite nice. The bag I received in November 2021 has a best by date of January 2022, which is pretty short. It's certainly a drinkable coffee, but it's not one that made me want a second cup. Considering the price per pound I expected a more flavorful brew. 3 stars (average). There are better, more flavorful decafs available at the same or lower price.

Very rich and flavorful.
If ground too fine, however, a more nutty flavor is appreciated.

Received expired coffee
I purchased this in April. When I received it the best by date said January. I was pleased with the price, but still don’t think I should have been sold an outdated product!

Good Decaf Whole Coffee Beans
For decaf beans these are pretty good. I think these have a good coffee flavor and aroma, and since they are beans they are more flavorful than a pre-ground decaf coffee. I always prefer the caffeinated coffee bean flavor, but can't tolerate the caffeinated effect (buzz) so I like to mix these beans in the grinder with caffeinated beans for a better flavor and less caffeine.

Acceptable if You Prefer Milder Taste
Most people drink their coffee from Kcups. I, too, usually reach for the Kcups when I’m in the office because they are convenient and everyone can drink what they like. But at home, I use a coffee grinder so I was anxious to try whole bean Twin Peaks Coffee Columbian Decaf.Free from caffeine, this whole- bean coffee is non- GMO verified and all natural. I don’t mind the elimination of caffeine because, well, it’s a good idea to cut caffeine consumption whenever possible and I already consume a good deal of caffeine in my daytime coffee and tea drinking routine. These are good qualities, but what matters most is the flavor. And in that regard, well, Twin Peaks isn’t among the richer decaf coffees I have tried. It holds promise at first. The beans look good and the aroma is pleasant. But when you taste it, you notice right away that it is lacking in overall flavor and complexity. There is no bitter edge, which is good, but the flavor is so- so at best. It's good to go decaf every so often. Twin peaks Coffee Columbian Decaf is an acceptable coffee, but not among the best I have tried. Buy it only if you prefer a milder flavor.

Aromatic and delicious.
The media could not be loaded. I felt a pleasant smell as soon as I opened the Amazon box in which there was a bag of coffee. Of course, what I might like, someone might not like it. This is normal and therefore I find it difficult to rely on the opinions of others in terms of assessing taste. Therefore, you can see what the product looks like in my video and I will add a couple of words: - as I said, the coffee is very aromatic; - the grains are well-done and have an even color. The grains seemed to me a little small. Good or bad I can’t say, but the taste definitely didn’t suffer from it; - the grains were ground quickly and well, like those that I usually grind; - I took my usual measuring spoon of ground coffee and the prepared drink satisfied me with all parameters. It was a rich tasty aromatic coffee that I am ready to drink every time I need this drink. In conclusion, I want to say for those who have not decided on their favorite drink or are looking for a new taste, it is definitely worth trying this product.

Not a peak drink
We first tried the Twin Peaks individual pour over packets. Although it’s a niche product, it yields a surprisingly round, and nuanced cup, on par with quality drip coffee making. Thus, my wife and I decided to try this conventional Columbian whole bean coffee, too. The cost works out to a fair $12.33 a pound, on par with a good local roaster. We grind our own beans each morning and then brew in our beloved Bonavita. Here’s our impressions from two coffee connoisseurs who are definitely not snobs:The taste is everyday medium roasted Columbian—yet stale and with distinct cereal off notes. I noticed that the expiration date is two months from when received. Many coffees list an expiration date a year from roasting date. If that’s the case with Twin Peaks, that might account for its disappointing taste. Can’t recommend this one. Ironically, the pour over type was much better.
