Runs extremely hot (4090 GPU model)
Good points: Nicely packaged. The sleek design is nice. The specs speak for themselves. The battery saver feature is good (limits charging to increase the lifespan).Bad points: The RAM and SSD use up both slots so to upgrade you'll need to remove them, bit annoying, also you can't use double sided SSD so the choice is limited. The heat is too much if you game on it. The base is uncomfortable to touch. If you don't raise it up or get extra cooling then it'll throttle the CPU. This has happened quite often to me which makes me think it won't last so long (heat is the enemy of a laptops lifespan) unless I get a decent cooling base for it. The fans are loud at max speed although the fans don't go that fast automatically when I've been gaming (there is limited settings to control the fans and overclock). The screen being combined 240hz FHD and 120 QHD is not that useful since you need to reboot between swapping... so I don't think I'll be using that feature much.Typing on it feels a bit offset to what I'm used to - my average words per minute is about 80 vs my normal high 90's. Would have been good to have a numpad but no Razers have, even the 17's.The fans are exactly where you would have it sat in your lap (so you can't use it without a tray or something). Would be good to put the fan intake on the side but that's where the ports are and the back is taken up by the monitor hinge.Would I buy again? Probably not, and I got this at 22% discount. There are other laptops with the same spec which may be better cooled or have extra fearures like numpad or extra screen or better expandable slots.I got this to take to my girlfriend on the weekends. If you are a student then an ultra book for school and a desktop PC at home would make much more sense. If you rarely go away from home get a desktop. If you're a creator or twitch streamer that travels a lot then this would be good although you'd also need to drag a laptop cooling stand with you so it's all quite cumbersome.Oh and if you want to return this to Amazon then you need your own courier which is hard to find to insurer at this value. So don't think you can "try" it and send back.

TLDR - do not buy Razer
Razer customer service are unhelpful and repairs are extremely expensive. Paired with a minuscule 1-year warranty and Razer’s infamous inferior build quality, we have a problem.I have a recurring hardware issue with my laptop which was not fixed properly by Razer the first time. They had the audacity to charge the full €99 diagnostic fee, separate repair fee, and return shipping. My protests were met with patronising and scripted customer service jargon.Razer are not for gamers, nor are they by gamers. They are a soulless corporation designed to part you with your money using Nigerian Prince tier scam tactics.

Was so excited for this. Ultimately disappointed.
I bought into the razer hype as a windows gaming, mac equivalent. It is not that. The screen was nice. But the heat on this thing is horrendous. It’s buggy and blue screened on me twice in a few days. Speakers lack any bass. And the trackpad is glitchy making typing difficult. And the sharp edges don’t help. I so wanted to like this. But ultimately sent it back due to heat issues. Not worth the price.
