I think you lose flavor with it
The mashing style of this unit squeezes a lot of juice out of the clove which doesn’t make it to the food. As such I’m not real happy with it as it’s a flavor sucking item. Very easy to use however! Just need to add more cloves than called for to get the same effect. I’d rather just use a knife.

They make it look so easy...
Not so much. You really, really have to push and press hard to get through a garlic clove. Much harder than with a garlic press. Even my husband decided it took too much effort. I don't actually know how they make it look that easy? Well, I am not going to bother returning it. Anyone want one? I am going back to my regular garlic press. The green tube silicon garlic peeler, is pretty nifty though! And it looks sturdy, like it will last a lifetime (prob because it is too hard to ever use?).

Works much better than the old style presses
I was skeptical at first about the peeler...until I used it! It works great! You simply put your garlic cloves inside the tube and roll it on the countertop a few times and the skins come right off! The press is easier to work than the old style garlic presses and much easier than chopping by hand. It does take some pressure, but the minced garlic is pushed up and collected inside the rocker. the package also includes a little brush for cleaning.

Minced Garlic has never been easier!
Traditional garlic presses are a pain to clean. Thos device is super easy to clean! They even have a plastic sleeve you can use to peel the garlic skin off effortlessly! Highly recommend!

Doesn’t work
Don’t be full, it doesn’t work at all. The garlic just sticky onto it.
