This knife was advertised that comes with kydex when in fact came with nylon yes the top main description said nylon but the full spec sheet under it said kydex knife works great but seller fail to properly describe the product be careful buying from this person

Very high quality, well-finished knife. But not very ergonomic in reverse grip, unless you like to fully hook your thumb at a >90° bend, so I returned it.

First when I looked at it and then again when I put the knife in it. The Velcro is absolutely useless the buttons are too big so... good luck with keeping the knife in there securely.So all and all, I DO NOT recommend it because it’s not worth the price. you can get sooooo many better knives for this price, Rat7 being one of them.I'll still keep the knife because it's just so beautiful. but that's about all it is

I wasn’t a fan of D2 steel due to challenge on field sharpening, but I love how it holds an edge for a long time. Ontario has fixed that by lowering the Rockwell hardness which makes it a lot easier to sharpen and making it very tough while still giving a long lasting edge. Originally it was designed for primarily tactical task but it really has excelled at normal camp tasks, bush crafting and game processing. Which much to my surprise make it one of the best if not the best knife out of more than a dozen higher end knives I have. Very comfortable in the hand with high quality all around, at a $130.00 it’s a good deal.

Cool blade!! The handle is not very comfortable and way too long. This is straight out of the box thoughts. look like i will keep already ordered a custom sheath. It will not be an EDC though at least not on the outside of the waistband. Toobig and scary for a lot of the snowflakes in the city.

WTF. So not cool. First day of use and I get a half inch chip in the blade just from some light work of debranching some cedar limbs. Ontario advertised this knife as being tempered to avoid this from happening. Obviously not. This was not damage from heavy or abusive use. Quite light use actually. OKC you've really let me down with this one. What a piece of junk. Doesn't even deserve one star other than I feels great in hand. But also very easy to cut yourself with the but end of the blade even with the end rounded a bit for safety. Don't buy unless you're just getting it to look cool sharpening hotdog sticks and chopping veggies.

I didn't pay attention to the description, just the price. It came with a sub par nylon sheath and I expected the kydex. Knife felt GREAT in hand and the fit and finish were great. Grind angles were a little off on the one I received and not as sharp as I'd hoped... BUT I'll probably order another one with the kydex sheath. Top quality overall. Great design.

Description clearly says Kydex sheath. Came with piece of crap nylon sheath! I ordered this from three different Amazon sellers, and all came with nylon Sheath.
