Lovely quality mixed seed
Really impressed with this company and the mixture of seed as shown in photo's.It was well packed and easy to lift for the carriers and arrived in perfect condition.Most importantly the wild birds Love it!!Lots to select from for the different birds who vist our bird table.Will buy again...

Good quality and no mess.
Although expensive the quality of this product makes it worthwhile.The birds seem to enjoy it especially during the breeding season.It's good that it contains suet pellets together with seeds.There's no mess and nothing to germinate.Apart from the cost the only other caveat is the presence of maize flakes which is only eaten by uninvited wood pigeons after the welcome small birds have discarded them.

A false economy - Once bitten, twice shy
This stuff has been an unmitigated disaster. High energy - no grow - no mess? No way.The hanging seed feeders I have hang inside cages to keep out larger birds, and every day are swamped with tits and sparrows, most of whom chuck this stuff on the ground in their hunt for sunflower hearts and the little pink suet pellets, both of which appear to be very meanly represented in this mix.If I place a plate or similar under the feeder to catch the waste, most of the wheat germinates and I end up with a little 'lawn' in the bottom of the feeder.If I don't, the waste ends up in the ground attracting pigeons, who very quickly turn the ground under the feeder into a muddy patch.I will now try pure sunflower hearts over winter, while I search for a better mix.Suggestions welcome.

Thf formula seems to have changed.
Used to be good, but they seem to have changed the formula. The last couple of bags we've had have contained a lot of dust, alongside the other bits. And we've also noticed that it just seems to fall through a normal seed feeder and end up on the lawn underneath.I thought the last-but-one bag was probably just a bad batch, but then the next one a couple of months later was the same.Birds still love it, but it's nowhere near as good as this product was a year or two back.

This is a good no waste product
This is a good no waste product, but I think that sunflower seed hearts are the best really, although I'm getting more gold finches with this product.
