This is pretty much what you would expect, although if I were to do it over again I would have gotten the larger of the two (the smaller one is just a smidge too small ideally). It should protect the carpets where our treadmill is quite well, and it is sturdy enough, I think, to stand up to normal use. Only thing that bothered me was trying to get it uncurled out of the box, which was frustrating. The material stuck to itself, and getting it to unroll was not particularly easy. Not really a deal breaker, but worth noting that you might have to fight it when you take it out of the plastic it comes rolled up in to get it pliable enough to flatten it out and keep it flat.

I ordered this mat to go under a Schwinn 430 elliptical machine. After I finally got it flattened out, I realized it was too short. That's my fault. Oops. However, it is exactly what I was looking for (thin, dense, waterproof, non-stinky, and non-skid) so I started looking for a place to use it.The elliptical, treadmill, and weight machine (plus tools, toys, and other manly stuff) are tucked away in a small unfinished area of the basement, along with the furnace, water heater, plumbing, and other unsightly stuff. The floor is paint over concrete, the room can't be domesticated, and as long as I shut the door when we have visitors, the room is mine.Looking at the weight machine I remembered that I always brace my feet against the frame when I do heavy scaption rows or leg curls because the painted concrete tends to get a little slippery if it's wet, and by the time I get to these exercises I'm usually dripping sweat. I tried placing the mat under the machine. It fit perfectly and provides great traction. Also, the "B" logo looks like a family monogram and classes up the joint.I guess now I'll buy the 72" X 36" size to go under the elliptical. It's worth the price. I just hope O.S.H.A. doesn't cite me for using a bike mat under a weight machine.

Nice quality product, using this for the side of our treadmill to protect the tile floor from dumbells, kettlebells and other handheld fitness equipment that we use along with the treadmill. I’d recommend throwing this mat out in the sun on a driveway or sidewalk for a hour or two to make it more flexible, it wants to curl back up on itself because it is rolled so tightly in the shipping box. No noticeable smell, perfect height in my opinion, no fear of tripping of the edge since it is very low profile.

The Bucklos mat is just what I needed to protect my carpet from the weight of the bike. It does the job as described. The mat rolls out just fine and is gentle on the feet. There will be indentions in the mat due to the weight of the bike, but that is normal. This is good buy.

This product is thick and comes all rolled up but for some reason has a crease in the middle. I placed some tubs to flatten the curls for a day, to remove the curls.
