My magnifier just arrived yesterday, and I’m in love! The makers have addressed every issue in previous reviews. The battery lid is secure (especially when it’s in the stand), there’s a bright blue sticker next to the power button so it’s easy to find, and you no longer hold down the button to turn the light off. You simply scroll through the lighting options until it’s off. There’s also a sheet enclosed to explain some of the other things people took issue with: lightweight plastic lens (being perceived as ‘cheap’ instead of understanding this new technology). And bonus! Included in the package is a protective microfiber pouch that doubles as a screen cleaner.I foresee years ago reading and crafting pleasure using this magnifier.

I bought the MagniPros 5X Large LED Page Magnifier for my dad, who has reading difficulties due to glaucoma. This magnifier has made a noticeable difference in his ability to read comfortably and with much less strain. The large viewing area and clear magnification allow him to see the text clearly without constantly repositioning the lens.He especially appreciates the three color lighting modes, which help reduce glare and eye fatigue depending on the time of day or lighting in the room. The anti-glare lens is a thoughtful feature, and the built-in LED lights provide just the right amount of brightness.Overall, my dad is very happy with this product, and I'm grateful that something so simple can make such a big impact on his daily life. Highly recommend for anyone with vision challenges.

The LED magnifying page reader seems well made & does the job. It takes some practice to learn the correct position for a clear image & it can be dizzying until you figure it out. I gave 4 stars only because it can be awkward trying to hold a book & get the magnifier in the right position. It’s definitely working for me though!

I got this for my mother in law and she was so appreciative. She didn't know something like this existed. The different colored light options are really helpful depending on the setting of where you're reading. Its light weight and was big enough to cover the whole page of the book she's been reading.

The VIEWABLE lens space is 4.25" x 7" which, for studying textbooks is not practical. The lens is supposed to be high quality, but it's like any page-size bendable magnifier : it has concentric rings, which can distort the outer edges of your field of view. The frame is very flimsy and you have to 'click' it a LOT to get it into some usable position. By then, you wonder if the 'clicking' over and over will easily wear down. The sides don't move in tandem; you have to keep moving one side then the other to keep them level with each other.Requires 3 AAA batteries (not included). I had to put them in/out several times before the lights would even turn on.A short 'pop' to the on/off button will work, but HOLDING the on/off will NOT work. There are 3 light levels and the brightest is quite bright. I like the 3rd one - the blue light. It provides illumination but is easy on my eyes.I'll use it because I bought it and I can't find anything wrong with it. But it's disappointingly cheap and doesn't magnify entire pages of my textbooks as I need (and I've tried hanging it from the top of the book, etc.).Since I also do artwork - and some of it is quite fine and up close - I can see using this as a hands-free magnifier for artwork. Again, it's not great quality because it's not glass. I'll find a use for it.

This magnifier is better than I hoped! My husband needed something to use for building miniture train items. He recieved it as a Father's Day gift and loves it. The stand allows him to use it hands free. Definately reccomend this item.

There is an explanation sheet on how the product was made, which went into great detail. A lot of research went into it and it is a high quality product. I am thoroughly satisfied with it and at Bible study sold two more. The lights on the side, provide a better reading surface. Thank you magna Pro for providing such a high-quality item. The battery area is a little difficult to get into, but that would be the only issue there would be.

Product arrived on time. I am excited to try it. I didn’t realize that the batteries were not included, but that is ok. My only comment is that it is a little “lighter” in weight than expected. I hope it is sturdy and durable enough. I am not sure of that at this time because it is too soon to tell.
