The media could not be loaded. Let me start by saying I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and stage 4 kidney disease. Therefore I have specific diet needs. I am on a low sodium, liw protein, liw phosphorus and potassium diet as well as being vegetarian. Noone else in my household is on any part of this type of diet. So, when it comes to my meals I like to make them in separate pots and pans, I have a whole counter dedicated to my electric meal prep gadgets. I like using the small hotpots this way I can just cook everything together. My last one worked well, but was stainless steel on the inside, and only had one cook setting. So sometimes I would end up with burnt veggies if I didn't jeep an eye on it. This also meant that I had to scour the pot after letting it soak. This pot has changed all that!This is a deeper and larger capacity multicooker with a nonstick coating. It has 2 cook settings, so if I have to walk away my food will not burn as quickly. I love this steamer, I never liked steaming my vegetables because it took too long, I swear with this multicooker that time has been cut in half! Mind you it will get very hot on the high cook setting, but to quick steam veggies it's very handy. This multi cooker us very well built, and all of the parts: steam rack and lid fit perfectly together. I have no fear of either one falling off if I pick it up by the handle. It is very versatile, I go from steaming veggies pour out the water add either oil or broth then make a soup, all usually with 15 to 20 minutes and my food is done. The cleanup is so easy with the the coating on the inside, a little soap and warm water and voila! It's in the drain rack.I woukd like to also mention that I like to take my cookers on vacation with me to hotels. Since its pretty hard to find appropriate Kraus when on vacation, next time we go I will definitely be bringing this and my trusty rice cooker! Buy it, you won't regret it!

Great little pot. I use it for most anything I am cooking a small amount of. It is great for just about anything you use a pot for. My favorite use of it is to cook oatmeal for y husband and myself in the morning. It holds just the right amount for the two of us. It is easy co clean and the best part is I don’t have to wait forever for the water to boil. Once it is plugged in you have boiling water in minutes. I highly recommend this item

I needed to use it with my Jackery battery 500 while being on the road. I tested by cooking Sukiyaki. The Low mode didn't go over 300W that was good! I didn't test the High mode since my Jackery is only with 500W. It took more time with Low mode to do anything since the heat is low. It suffice when I needed to cook something simple and boil water for coffee and tea. Boiling water of about 1 litter took about 10% of my Jackary - not bad!A few things I wanted to mention.1. Easy to clean? - If you don't use a soap, yeah, it's easy for wipe clean, but I use a soap unless I just boiled water. Then, the electric house is attached, and I didn't see the component is water proof, thus, it's very hard to soap clean.2. Lid isn't fit - The lid can snuggly be placed on the body, however, it doesn't quite fit tight on it unlike any other ordinary pots. That being said, the lid can slip out easily. This must be something the manufacture can improve easily.3. Pouring outlet - I just wished there was a pouring outlet made in one edge of the body so I can pour hot water out into my mug without worrying it might drip.

I love this, it works great and boils water super fast. Great for steaming dumplings and vegetables alike. Its suprisingly lightweight and very easy to clean.

Cute and useful

I purchased the pot last summer and used it for a few times when I travelled with my baby. Thinking it’s a great product to help heating baby food or steamed something quickly for her. Not sure if it’s the way I stuffed the cable in the box, the pot didn’t work well and I tested with my monitor cable to see if it’s the pot or cable issue. Thanks god I tested it before I brought it to my most recent trip. Turned out it’s the cable so I contacted the customer support to get a cable replacement. They just told me to use my monitor cable or get a new cable myself. They don’t seem to want to honor the one year warranty even it’s less than 10 months old. Now I wonder the quality of the pot.

Boiled 2 cups of water 10:44 on first setting and 7:36 on second setting. Certainly large enough for just over two servings and it doesn’t feel “flimsy”.
