The tent as a whole is pretty good. Just needs some fine tuning
Took the tent out for a 3 day car camping trip in Vail this past weekend and it performed pretty well. There are a few things that could be improved upon but overall the tent was really good for someone in this price point and ease of use. The tent doesn't pack down very small, while it's flat it does have quite a big diameter and I would guess wouldn't fit in some people's vehicles. I have a VW golf and I had to lay it flat on the floor with the seats laid down. Since I have dogs I had to put blankets on top of the tent so they didn't mess it up, and our other things like cooler and water jug could go on top as well. We weren't able to set the tent up prior to going so we were venturing into unknown territory when we set up camp. Didn't really know how big the tent was, didn't know if our queen size air mattress was going to fit. Fortunately the tent sets up in seconds, just a few tugs here and there and wallah you have a decent size tent. All of our stuff and dogs fit in fine. The air mattress was pushed up against the sides but it really wasn't bad enough to be concerned about the integrity of the tent. The first thing we did notice was the lack of pockets though. They're weren't any to put the tent bag or our sleeping bag compression sacks. There are 2 below the windows but those are just big enough to put your phone, wallet, or keys. The second shortcoming we noticed we're the doors. There are 2 separate zippers for the screen and door, which the does are very close to one another and are hard to distinguish which is which. It would be nice if the screens we're attached to the exterior door, make it a little easier. When we woke up after the first night the interior of the tent had so much condensation on it it was dripping on our sleeping bags, not soaking them but was substantial. We slept with the rain fly off because I had read about this happening in one of the reviews and wanted to see if we could avoid it, no such luck. After the second night though we or the rain fly in and it solved the problem, hardly any condensation the next 2 nights. When it was time to pack up, it was a little tricky because we couldn't load the car without the tent because it went on the bottom but we had to get everything out of the tent to put it away and the ground was muddy and wet. So, we ended up putting all the blankets on the car while we folded the tent. Well, tried to fold the tent. We tried to follow the directions that came with it but we failed miserably. I was only able to pack it down to about twice it's original size which made it getting into the car very difficult. We managed, barely, and were able to get all our gear and dogs in.What we learned was, watch the video they have! Set the tent up beforehand and break it down. All in all its a nice tent, I mean I've paid the same amount of money for a tent at Walmart that was far interior to this one. It's worth the money just needs some further refining to make it an excellent tent

Great idea for a tent!
I got this roomy tent for a 6'3" guy and a 5'5" girl - I LOVE IT!!!!!! I did a lot of research on these types of tents and know that at the prices they are selling at, I couldn't expect a dynamite tent - and it isn't! BUT the design of it is what sold me! I love the very airy feeling with the two doors and 3 big screened (and covered) windows at the ceiling and sides of the tent (what's not to love there?) The fly that comes with it does seem to be somewhat waterproof, as is the same grey fabric used for the ends with the doors. After my only one night in it so far, the orange fabric upper side walls and ceiling did have condensation both on the inside and on the outside, I assume due to dew (it didn't rain while I had it up outside) . I did set up a tarp over half of the tent (at the ready in case it did rain) - and the tent walls were completely dry in the morning inside and out on the half that was covered overnight. Which made me think it wasn't condensation on the inside of the 'exposed' fabric, but perhaps wetness seeping in. I'll have to sleep in it more to give a more objective observation. It's not made for heavy duty camping, but with the guy lines it withstands a fair amount of wind very well! The mesh will not keep out New England blackflies, and so far hasn't been challenged by the flying (or creeping) fauna of northern Colorado. I love tents in general, and this is a great concept for a tent, I expect the stitching won't hold up more than two years max.Beware!!! I inherited a similar tent made many many years ago with a now shredding fiberglass pole!!! I've heard the reliability of fiberglass poles deteriorates rapidly after about 5 years. Best, if you love your tent, to take out the pole before it shreds and replace it (Anybody know where to get replacement poles????

Hard to put away
I actually didn’t know that there was no assembly required, or even a “pop up” tent, I bought because it was cheap, it arrived in a very thin box and I assumed it was the wrong product. Then I opened the box and unzipped the thin bag it came in and it flung open in my living room and broke my ceiling fan… it also took 3 YouTube videos and about 25 tries each between my boyfriend and myself to figure out how to collapse it. It seemed like such an easy thing to do but it would just make a bigger circle instead of the size we needed to fit it back in the bag. Miraculously I figured it out, drank a glass of wine from the stress, and decided to to write the review. It was honestly pretty impressive size wise for the price. Comes with stakes, and is EXTREMELY EASY TO OPEN…. however I feel like after a night of hard drinking and with a hangover, I might just throw the thing in my trunk and not fuss with completely folding it up to right size.

Perfecr size
Received quickly for birthday gift. Perfect size for hiking/camping; lightweight. Just throw in air to set up. Took a couple tries to fold back up to put in bag but after you do it once it's a piece of cake. I like the roof window to look at the night sky (when not raining of course)
