Use it in the US as well as internationally
Great for both US and international water systems. Water always tastes great. I use it pretty much anytime I need to use public water. It lasts around 5 years if you use it consistently. If you only use it on an international trip and then forget about it until the next trip, the filter is likely to seize up and clog.

Great Travel Product
Great product, I just wish it was less expensive. We always use when traveling out of country to third world areas.

Simple to install
Love my Life-Straw. So I signed up for auto delivery for the filter. I can travel anywhere and know I have water that can be filtered. Easy to use and tastes great.

Great option
We used these to travel through India and Bali and could not recommend enough. We never had to worry if the jugs of “clean” water were clean enough or anything like that. We have since also used it in Costa Rica and plan to use them on any trip where water quality is questionable

Incompatible
in 2021 i purchased 2 Red Cross lifestraw waterbottles.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074WFMQRG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1i ordered replacement lifestraws earlier this week only to find out that there was a design change. Now i have 2 older lifestraw bottles without lifestraws, and a lifestraw that doesn't fit a bottle. To me this is a money grab by the company forcing users to purchase new bottles. If they did it once, they will do it again making this a very untrustworthy company imho. If you can't trust the company, can you trust their products? idk. do you?i will be returning this straw, let the company take the hit. and look for a more trustworthy brand to support!

I'm ready for replacement!
I love my LifeStraw# water purification bottle and I do not leave home without it! It has been a game changer for me, ensuring that I drink purified water whenever I'm outside of my home.I bought this filter to ensure that when the day comes for replacement (1,000 gallons!) I will have it on hand. The current one I have is holding up real well. Once a week, I wash the inside of my bottle and I blow out this filter, wipe it down to prevent it from getting slimy & let it dry out before setting up my bottle again. That seems to be working for me. I imagine since this is a LifeStraw# filter (vs a knock off) I will have a similar experience with this one as well

Fits the bottle 👍
It's the one that fits my bottle so, I really don't have a choice. I love my bottle and use it every single day.
