perfect little kit at a low price.......

i like this inexpensive fret sanding stone a lot. it's a basic, no frills package that has what you need to start working on your guitar frets. i tested this out on an old guitar that has some frets that needed some work. after watching some videos and using this sanding stone i was able to fix up some frets that were causing some fret out issues on that neck. very handy tool to have if you like to tinker and diy your guitar maintenence.

If you’re cleaning up your frets during string changes this is perfect. They aren’t luthier quality but they do exactly what they advertise.

These fret protectors are great. Edges are not sharp at all, which is nice to protect the fretboard. Flexible but sturdy.

I've been working on fretted instruments for more than 40 years and have used a fair number of different fret shields, and these are actually pretty good. They fit the frets well, they sit well on the fretboard and the kit even came with 4 rubber bands - two are large, thick bands and the other two are smaller black elastics with a fiber cover - very similar to standard hair bands, but they work really well. The sanding stone is also decent - it's about 3 7/8 inches long and 1/2 inch square. I can't tell you the grit rating, and it is a fine grit, but I wouldn't use it for polishing, it is a little bit coarse for that - I would use it more for removing file/sanding marks after a fret level has been done. Overall, I think that it is a very good deal for a good usable set of instrument tools.
