Canon PIXMA MX922 Wireless Inkjet Office All-in-One Printer (MX922, Color Ink kit)

I did a TON of research on the best printer to print cricut designs and stickers. The color had to be impeccable and the printer had to be versatile. I needed a scanner/copier as well.All of the YouTubers are using this one so I found it on Amazon and it was a great price.WOW ! This sucker is FAST!! It is done printing before I even know it has started. The color is beautiful, it comes with an extra set of ink cartridges and even though the picture-filled instructions (what happened to WORDS PEOPLE???) weren't the clearest for me to follow, I got it up and running in 15 minutes.LOVE.The one thing to remember is it is BIG and HEAVY. It's worth it to me, I just need to get creative on where to put it so it doesn't dominate my small space.

This printer is a marvel of engineering, and has performed perfectly. The packing was effective and economical, using the minimum of materials. The expected parts, including ink cartridges were within. Setup was straightforward, including wifi, I could print directly, and was able to scan after running the setup CD.

I was doing fine with it until one paper page stuck inside it. I removed it gently. I tried to print again and it told me the lower cassette was out of paper, which it was NOT. I tried to see what was going wrong and the next time I tried to print, all the paper was pouring out the back of it. I'm going back to my Brother. I know what to do when that one jams. Anyway, this printer is WAY too HUGE.

PROSGood print quality. Separate ink tanks. Faster wireless setup and printing than previous models. Extra set of ink included in addition to the "setup" ink tanks which are filled with just enough ink to get you going.CONSExtra set of ink is FOUR ink tanks even though printer takes FIVE, small black is not included...which is totally stupid.As is the trend with Pixma ink tanks, they keep shrinking in ink volume.This is the 6th Pixma I have owned, and a problem with all has been ink "disappearing" even when you don't print. I don't print much (web page itineraries, receipts) maybe a couple pages a month, and have had to replace color tanks literally after 10 pages spread out over 6 months. Does the ink evaporate? drain into waste tank? I don't know. Print heads flake out after 2-3 yrs, so you have to buy a new one.Why have I owned 6 with these faults? Better print quality, and a slight edge over other printers that have one tiny tank containing all 3 colors. Although I have to say I am highly disappointed in this latest, due to the tiny amount of ink in tanks now and the combo ink pack that does not have ALL tanks needed.SUMMARYBetter quality prints than other HP and Epson printers I have tried.Increasingly dodgy ink tanks. Disposable. Purchase the cheap to mid priced models, or you will feel ripped off when it does not last. I think my next printer will be a simple B&W laser printer.

I bought a Canon Pixma a few years ago to replace an HP "boat anchor". When the Pixma crashed recently I looked for another Canon. The MX922 was selected based on good reviews, but I was a bit shocked at the size when it arrived. Other than the size, it did the self-setup process with no help, and scans and prints nicely. The front (output) cover needs to be closed to access the paper tray underneath. This "all in one" does a good job and is likely to last for a few years, but I would have preferred something a bit more compact. So, before ordering I suggest looking carefully at the dimensions.

Item showed up ahead of schedule. Great job for that. Printer is nothing to get excited about. It takes a long time to warm up and print. My old HP would start printing seconds after I clicked "print", my new Canon takes about a minute while it buzzes and makes strange noises. The prints are OK, when they finally print.

This machine makes my allegedly comparable HP printer seem "stone age". Easy installation, great price and creates an outstanding product. Received the next day! Excellent buying experience...

This printer is great! Setup took approx 15 mins, then all good to go. Shipment was prompt; very pleased with this purchase and would buy from seller again in the future
