Buffalo Horn Guitar Picks - Talons by Bison Boa - Exotic 5 Pack

Love these plectrums they feel a little bit on the thick side at first but you soon get used to them and they glide over the strings making alternate picking feel easy and smooth

I've been using this pick for the last week and I can say this is one the best that I've used. This does not have a wooden feel and is rather smooth and well made. It is not as small as it looks in the images advertised and fits in between my thumb and first finger perfectly. I guess the best part of the pick is the thick pointy tip which enables quick and fast alternate picking (see pictures). The picks appear to be sturdy and I'm sure would last long after quite some playing. My previous choice of picks have always been Jazz III (both red and black) and I still continue to use them but these ones have become my favourite now and I've used them continuously the last 5 days. The little box that comes with the picks itself is good and can be easily opened or closed easily unlike other tins where your picks drop off each time you open the box. I ordered them on a Friday evening and received it on Sunday afternoon, so overall I'm very happy and satisfied with the product and service.

Good profile but would have liked more of a chamfer on the leading edge. Also would have liked the colours in the photo. Mine were 3 x black and 2 x transparent

I've been using John Pearse horn picks for years. Due to the increasing price (£10 a pick) and difficulty getting hold of them I thought I'd try these. I've tried loads of other brands in search of an alternative to the JP's and none come close...until now. These are fantastic! really comfortable and sound great. I won't go back to the JP's now. Very happy 😊

Very slick! I'm accustomed to playing with wooden picks but these talons made a refreshing change. Smaller than the splinters, they took a little time to get used to but definitely better for fast picking. Responsibly sourced, good looking and more than fit for purpose. I would highly recommend, even for a rookie like me!! Great product.

Just tried these, they give a lovely soft done compared to pladtic picks. Love em!

I've had a couple of Bison Boa things over the years. These picks are great, as expected from their normal quality. Really interesting to look at, all unique and they'll make a great gift. The main thing, they're excellent to play with, very slick. Really pleased, again.

Good idea but they seem to be suited to left handed players?
