Hallowood Furniture Waverly Oak Bar Stool in Light Oak Finish, Solid Wooden Stool with Footrest, Ideal for Kitchen Island, Breakfast Bar, Dressing Table, Living room or Hallway

Because I find it difficult to stand for long periods of time and my passion is cooking I decided to buy a suitable stool for my kitchen.I certainly looked around before deciding to buy this stool. It is well made and most suitable for my kitchen. The height and overall size is perfect. It came fully assembled and extremely well packed. I am delighted with my purchase.

First of all, these stools arrived way before the expected delivery date which was a pleasant surprise!They are exactly what we had hoped for. Solid oak, with nice wood grain pattern and finished well. They are well built and are very comfortable to sit on, even for extended periods as the seat base is nice and wide, and the foot rests are at a good height to support your legs.They are also a perfect height for our worktops, as most other stools we looked at were too high. With these they fit perfectly under the worktops in our kitchen and you cat sit comfortably with enough room for hour legs to go under the worktops. Well deserved five stars!

If one could give a 5 star plus, i would. This stool is excellent in many ways. Sturdy, solid oak. It is a good match for our oak kitchen table! And, in these days of flat pack, it is wonderful to receive it fully assembled!!Highly recommended piece of furniture and so good, we ordered a second one.

I needed a new kitchen stool to replace a multifunctional, flimsy piece of tat, step and stool unit that I bought from another mail order company that shall be nameless.Never mind, I learned my lesson that with multifunctional products you are going to be unhappy with at least one of the functions. So I found a nice compact set of steps also on Amazon and chose this to replace the stool.First impression, light oak finish which matched my laminate. Good solid wood. Joints seem well finished. Some people complained about sharp corners but I found that the corners are all rounded as is the edge of the seat.Delivery was quick and the price was reasonable. I just hope it lasts.

Disappointed. The stool seemed solid at first but very quickly began to creak and wobble when sat upon. I don't think it will have a very long life but we will see.Later - And now the screws are dropping out! My disappointment increases by the day.This stool has now collapsed under an 81 year old woman after little use just over a month after purchase. Avoid!

So pleased with my new stool. It is well made and comfortable to sit on. The wood is a lovely colour and is smooth to the touch. It arrived in just a couple of days which was a nice surprise and it was well packaged. It is being used in the kitchen by both myself and my husband who is unable to stand for any length of time. He is as pleased with it as I am and finds it much better than the perching stool which it is replacing.

We ordered one to see what it's like and loved it so much we ordered 3 more. They have a good sized seat and are very stable and comfy. They are oak and go with our oak worktops beautifully. We have them at our breakfast bar at the kitchen Island. Love them.
