Based on the price, I did not expect a lot from this back pack, but it was perfect. It packs to quite a small size & is lite, but fairly rugged & water proof. I used it during a 2 week trip in Switzerland to carry a range of items including multiple full water bottles. The small bag the pack fits into is attatched to the inside of the unpacked, larger back pack, which makes it handy to put things like medications or other items in that you want to reach quickly & easily, but not keep in the outside zipper pocket. The water bottle holders on either side of the pack work well too. This is not a pack for camping or carrying a laptop, but it is perfect for travel & day hikes.

I took this gem to Africa on a mission's trip. I was able to put a ton of snacks, two bottles of water, my iPad (w/ magic keyboard) and a few other things with no problem at all. The main compartment is deep. While it does not have organization pockets that can keep most things separated, I was impressed with the sheer amount of things I could carry. Like other reviews have stated, the straps are not padded, but you really do not feel a strain from them. The material is surprising. I was sure it would tatter and come apart, but nope. It is strong and durable. I used it for 7 days in and out of vehicles, walking around, safari etc... It fit my needs and I was thoroughly pleased. Finally, the pack-away feature is such a bonus. I kept it in it's pouch to put into my carry-on back-pack while traveling by plane. Then I unpacked it and used it as my everyday get around pack. Can't say enough about it, but I'll leave with this statement. If you are hesitant about it holding up and carrying what you need, pull the trigger.

I just finished a two-week trip where this backpack got a lot of use and I think it is a terrific value. Strong, ripstop-style fabric, strong seams and strong zippers. The zippers were a little tight but that meant that they stayed snug. They loosened up (in a good way) after a little time. The only thing that I wish was different is that I wish that it had 3 compartments instead of two. I would pay a few more dollars for that. But it is a great, very lightweight backpack that held up under a lot of abuse.

These backpacks are ultra-light, yet excellent quality and robust. It is an absolute travel essential for me. I use it as daypack whenever I go on a day hike or sightseeing. Stuff it as much as you like, even pack my laptop when I don't want to leave it in the car. Has room for a lot of items. Side pockets easily accommodate 24 ounce water bottle. One or two inside pockets would be useful. The backpack keeps stuff dry when it's raining, but it's not waterproof. Everyone in my family got one of those. I recommend a chest-strap to make carrying even more comfortable.

For a very lightweight daypack,, it holds my Yeti very firmly. I thought that was my biggest ask, but it delivers. In addition it has extra pockets, in and out. I would say it is made well enough for my upcoming trip filled with day hikes. Zippers could be higher quality. Not sure they will last very long. The extra? A place to hang my glasses when not needed.It's a keeper! I think I'll buy extras for my traveling companions.

I love how lightweight this backpack is and the pattern is adorable. I was able to get it back in the little bag on my 2nd try after rolling it a little smaller & tighter. The 14L size was a little smaller than I expected so I’m going to have my 8yo use it on our flight & WDW days. I’m going to try the next size up since I carry more stuff. Hoping it’s truly waterproof and will withstand the intermittent Florida rain. Also Im a little concerned that the zipper is stiff. Might try adding a little oil to see if that helps.

I'm not normally a review writer, but after taking this backpack through Europe for a month, I had to come home and sing its praises. It's super lightweight but tough! I filled it to the top with heavy stuff and after a lot of miles on trains, planes, and bike handlebars it still looks brand new. The straps are just a mesh fabric but if you spread them out (even with a considerable load) they are comfortable enough. For a no frills, inexpensive day pack, this product will not disappoint.

This product is highly useful for its purpose. I was hiking a very long distance, with a heavy backpack, but sometimes I needed to go into town with a backpack. I did not want to carry my heavy backpack, and I did not want to pack a heavy (smaller) backpack. This thing weighs nothing and is sturdy. I did not test it underwater but it has rainproof zippers. Strong thumbs on this thing. But get one of the larger sizes b/c they barely weigh more, and they hold so much more.

16 litre. This is the 2nd one I bought for a different color. I like the extremely light weight and small size. Much sturdy than expected. Still can put a lot on it. Just the price has gone up more than double since my first purchase.

I have purchased this as a gift and I didn't want to remove the bag from its pouch, so I can only base my review on the product as I have pictured.Firstly postage speed from USA to Australia (in a pandemic) was impressive.The backpack itself appears to live up to everything promised in description. It is packed into a small, lightweight pouch, and is no bigger than my hand - it would be a bit of a bulge in a jeans pocket, but it would fit. The fabric and the stitching appear to be well finished and overall it presents as being good quality.I am happy with my purchase and hopefully the gift recipient will be too.

Perfect size for traveling. I take it everywhere and if required, just open it up and you’ve got a great little backpack/shopping bag.
