This percale sheet set reminds me of those in my Grandmothers home in the 1960’s. Crisp clean feel when fresh out of the washing. Over a couple days they soften right up.The elastic on the fitted sheet easily fits over our 10” thick mattress with its topper. The elastic on this sheet “clings” to he bottom of the mattress and stays put unlike sheets which the elastic sewn into the sheet. There are small labels sewn into the head an foot seam of the fitted sheet so one gets the orientation correct the first try.The top sheet is generously sized with plenty of overhang on the edges.The pillowcases have interior pillow retention dearie sewn which works well.

These are well-made sheets with an excellent full-circumference elastic grippy fitted sheet that stays put. Deep enough for a large King mattress. They are very soft after the first wash and very comfortable. We removed them after three nights' sleep as they are VERY warm and not really suitable for spring/summer sleeping. We'll use them again when fall comes around and the nights are cooler. I was honestly surprised at how much heat they retained, much warmer than a (more expensive) 800TC cotton set we also bought to try. That set is on our bed now and, while a bit stiffer than these, is much more comfortable this time of year.

I absolutely love the feeling of this bedsheet. There’s a texture like feel to it. When I rub my legs/feet on it, it feels great. It’s washed up pretty well, kind of looks like a linen material after washing. I did notice a stain, hence me knocking off one star and the material is kind of thin. I have another bedsheet underneath. But I love love the comfort feeling!! I would definitely buy another one if needed

The fabric is soft enough for me. Not a fan of the super soft, velvety feel for a bed sheet, prefer crispness and these are crisp. The quality of the fabric and the construction is high quality. This has the best full sheet elastic. The elastic strip is much bigger than I usually see. There is rubberized strip to assist in holding in place, and it does stay in place. The sheet is a true deep fit. My mattress is 11 inches deep, sheet would fit deep. I am considering buying more to match with a variety of flat sheets.

These sheets are very soft and they stay cool. They have deep pockets and stay put on the mattress. I definitely need more of these!

Great value, great fit for Mom's hospital bed.

I've had a love hate relationship with fitted sheets for a while now. Not everyone has a super thick mattress and this makes it just about impossible to keep the fitted sheets on as they are so very deep.Until now! I absolutely love how these sheets fit, feel, look and wash up easily and dry quickly. Pricing on the sheetsnis great as well and I'm certain they will last a long time.

Great packaging. I would suggest to maybe remove the plastic film in the window to make it 100% recyclable. Overall, I love the softness of the sheets. PLUS, lets talk about the edging! WOW. I finally found sheets I didn't have to wrestle with and try to pin down the corners for the count. Super deep pockets and love the grip! I am so buying more so to have spares. It is soft and I believe over time, it will be even softer with every wash.

California Den Queen Sheet Set: Organic White.I always check new sheets for flaws in stitching and holes in fabric. I am really impressed with these sheets. Other high-quality sheet sets I have bought have had uneven stitching and looped threads, but the stitching on these sheets was even and straight, the stitches even and secure. The only flaw I found was at the top right corner where the sewer didn't backstitch enough to secure the thread before finishing the sheet. That was clearly going to come loose if I washed the sheet, so I got out the needle and thread and made a few stitches of my own. It took about three minutes and the sheet was perfect. Easy peasy, and not hard.I have a full/double mattress, but because I like the larger flat sheet, I get Queen-sized sheet sets. The fitted sheet is more than deep enough to fit my 12" mattress, with plenty of fabric left over for tucking. Because of the strong elastic that goes all the way around the fitted sheet, it holds onto the mattress firmly and keeps a slightly too-large sheet from being wrinkly. I will be certain to only wash the fitted sheet in cold water, and hang to dry, so that the elastic lasts forever– heat breaks down elastic over time.I like very crisp sheets because I'm a hot sleeper and I can't stand sleeping on overly soft sheets. When I took these sheets out of the package, I was tempted to put them onto my bed right away (after backstitching that top right corner, of course). But since I'm chemically sensitive and I could smell sizing, possibly starch, on the sheets (to make and keep them flat for presentation), I had to wait while they were first washed, then hung to dry. Then right onto the bed and– it's so nice to lie down in a bed with crisp sheets. I can't describe it. It's emotionally relaxing. The crispness makes them feel extra clean; that's the beauty of percale weave.At first I wasn't too keen on the two-coloured stitching at the top of the flat sheet (one row of grey, one row of light emerald), but I think I like it now, maybe even prefer it. When I imagine the sheet with just ordinary rows of white on white, it seems kind of boring.Now I'm waiting on a set of the same in pink (gotta love sales). There were two in stock when I placed my order, and now it seems the computer system wasn't keeping up with the sales and they sold out before my order was confirmed; they're just that popular. I'm a bit peeved that I've been waiting over two weeks for them to even ship– it may take even longer. But as long as I get them before we hit the 6-week mark, I'll be happy. And I'll be very happy to put them on my bed, because I luuurrvv these sheets.

I bought one pair to check the quality and comfort. I followed the instructions by washing and immediately putting them on my bed. The elastic is outstanding; the fitted sheet stays put. The seems and edging are sewn properly and durably. I am a very hot sleeper and these are the most comfortably cooling sheets that I have ever owned so I purchased two more sets. I am so relieved that I have finally found the perfect sheets for such a reasonable price. If you follow the instructions by immediately putting them on the bed or folding immediately after drying then there is little to no wrinkling. The only problem I have is with the communication with California Design Den. I like these sheets so much that I want to purchase their Naturally Comfortable Quilt Set in charcoal from their website but they seem to be sold out of the queen size. I have sent emails and even called them and no response. That is a huge pet peeve of mine. If Amazon.ca carried their quilt sets, I would purchase through them but they don't.

Ordered a set for a guest bedroom and was so blown away by the quality that I ordered even more. Highly recommended and am telling everyone I know about this product The only drawback is that colours are limited in double or queen sizes. I have 2 white sets that are identical in colour that I washed at the same rime. Fortunately their tags clearly say double or queen on them so I had no problem at all telling them apart. They are not or never will be wrinkle free because they are cotton, but they are soft right out of the package so that's really awesome. Great product, very happy

Fits perfectly and sheets are very comfortable and soft after washing. Love the organic cotton. Will always purchase this material from now on. Fits my deep pockets as it's 16 inches and these are 14 inches. Great product.
