If you need to ensure electrical safety, when you are enjoying your hobbies, then this static safety strap is a must.

I found this comfortable to wear. I used to to change to a from a conventional hard drive to an SSD in my laptop as it is getting old and in comparison to my PC (which does had an SSD), was very slow. The earthing strap allowed me to do the job confident that no static from my hands would damage the circuits in the laptop.. Result is that I have safely upgraded my laptop to a much faster machine.

I used this wristband while assembling my computer. It fits well and is comfortable.

I tested the effectiveness of this product using a multimeter. Compared to other similar products, It was very ineffective. I literally put it in the bin. Even pulled tight it doesn’t make good skin contact and does not ground you effectively.

Its elastic would have preferred Velcro and a bit short but i suppose it works, wire attached buy a popper, pulled off once or twice bit annoying when you got your hands full
