Part of Fender's offset series the Duo-Sonic is a short-scale guitar that oozes with style that's fun to play, but with an impressive sound. Taking inspiration from the original debut model from 1956 the Duo-Sonic has remained relevant throughout the decades thanks to how comfortable and easy it is to play. Not just that but a pair of Duo-Sonic single-coil pickups offer a wide and flexible range of sounds whilst the short-scale nature of the guitar enhances the guitars tone, giving it a warmth and feel you won't get from any other guitar. Finished in aged white and with Fender's legendary build quality you can take the Duo-Sonic to the stage and put on a performance like never before.

Great guitar to learn on.
I have small hands and have a Telecaster that I love the look and sound of, but the typically large neck is difficult to play. This Duo Sonic matches the Tele for overdriven sounds and had similar tonal characteristics. You'll want to turn your volume and tone down a little bit and you'll get an overdriven sound that is great for rock, punk and indie. The pickups are low output, and the bridge pickup can sound a bit weedy fully clean. Which is no bother to me, because who plays clean anyway? The finish and build quality are superb. It's really striking in white. The guitar is perfect for someone with slightly smaller hands or a student. Although not a cheap guitar it falls into the upper end of 'affordable' electrics. If you want to buy your son or daughter a decent guitar to learn on, they'll love you for buying this. Equally, it's of a high enough quality to keep experienced guitarists happy.I think I'll probably upgrade the pickups and tuners and have some fun with this guitar because it's so much fun to play.
