Just got delivery of my set of artisan fishing floats from Ian Lewis, these are absolutely beautiful works of art. So pleased I got them before I go on my fishing holiday in Scotland, although not sure weather to use them or not, or just sit and admire the craftsmanship.

They arrived before I was expecting them, well packed.And upon opening the box, WOW, you wont get anything with more beauty in the fishing world. Well made and perfect, cant wait to use them, I have been float fishing since I took delivery, but I just cant bring myself to put them in the river.Next time I will.And now an update, I went out this morning to a very small stream and fished.Using the 3 AAA with shotting down to almost perfect, simply because I was fishing with worms and the weight of the worm did the rest.Lovely performance, and I was able to control this float very well, in part I think because I usually fish lighter floats.The boyancy was great, we all know what a bite looks like, but with this float, its easy to tell between a nip and a proper take.I caught a stunning grayling from a slow run, and later from a very small weir pool I caught a very respectiable trout.Very happy, with my purchace, I would recomend if you want to float fish, get some of these floats, you wont regret it.
