Bamboozled into falling for Lan lol
So I went into this book completely disliking Lan. I could not stand the man. I was like well, this one may be a bust for me. HA! No, I was already being wrapped around his finger by half way through the book. Does this make me slightly toxic? Probably. Do I care? Absolutely not. NOW lets examine WHY I was BAMBOOZLED into falling for Lan, and why it makes this book amazing. The lengths this man goes to for this woman is just *swoon*. Yes all the men in this series are morally grey, or complete psychopaths who do questionable things, and also do extremely sweet things as well. Lan was actually pretty bad. He was making Killian look like a saint TBH. His actions though? Oh no, he out did himself. Like at this point Im seriously asking myself… do I want a psycho to love me? No, NO! No we do not! Welllllllllll if it was like Lan, then maybe… I mean they say actions speak louder than words. Well his sweet overplayed his psychopath, if you actually pay attention, and in this book it REALLY highlights that. Again like with Killians book it does show the deeper sides of being with someone like them, and the deeper psychological sides. THE BOOK IS A DARK ROMANCE CHECK YOUR TRIGGER WARNINGS FFS!! Its also spicy AF! Be aware of what this book is before you attempt to read it!This Contemporary Dark Romance is book 4 in the Legacy of Gods series. Due to the fact that this book is a dark romance it will have darker topics, scenes, and themes. Please check all trigger warnings before reading. The book moves at a steady pace following Mia as she captures Landons attention after exacting a plan of revenge for her brother. Only attracting Lans attention is last thing anyone wants. Lan is dangerous chaos, and her brothers enemy. Lans becomes obsessive over Mia, as he decides she is his muse. She will be his, and she will never escape him. This book is a dark, steamy, and all consuming read.

Wow!
Since I've started the legacy of god series Landon was probably my least favorite character because of how unhinged he is. He's very much similar to Killian from God of Malice But 10x worse. To be honest I didn't like how Landon treated people Throughout the series so far what he did to his sister and what he did to Cecily. But I'm glad he worked to basically getting their forgiveness in his own wayAfter reading this book I would say Landon is maybe my 3rd favorite character so far. Mia is absolutely adorable love her. I love how she gives Landon that semblance he needs in his life Where he can truly be a better person. Mia's brother Nikolai Has some serious issues he needs to work out I get that he is the protective older brother. But he needs to back off a little bit. I'm curious if we're ever gonna get Maya, Mia's twin sister her own book. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read God of Fury next.

Best book in the series
I loved Landon since his first appearance in God of Malice and bought his book then, knowing I was going to like it. And I was right. I now also bought the audiobook (Shane East's acting is stellar) because it's my comfort read and I like to be able to listen if I can't sit down for a page-turning session.Though I'll argue anyone that Eli deserves more love than he gets, Landon is the best character of this series, hands down. And Mia is the perfect match for him. Both characters are witty and complex, and even though Landon is egocentric, he's written in a way that's fun and amusing - I'd probably hate a guy with his ego in real life, but his inner musing make him the most entertaining of the characters in this series.Bottom line, excellent plot, excellent and super entertaining characters, with witty interactions, all wrapped up with Rina's unmistakeable and unmatchable prose. I'll rate this book five stars a million times.

give me mooooore
Honestly, this is probably my 2nd favorite so far. I think Kent showing that we have these toxic men who are sociopaths or psychopaths and showing their change for their women is perfect. It comes a little at a time without the men realizing what’s happening and when they do, it’s too late. They’re in love. And tbh, Maya could catch a round after what she did to Mia. Just saying…
