Easy & Quick to replace
This product was purchased to replace a mailbox flag that had faded. I was prepared to paint the flag until I decided to check for replacement. Amazon had several options. This model was the closest to the one I currently had. There are a couple of options on how to mount it. I also had the option of just using the flag with my current mounting pieces. It was easy to mount. The flag is a thick plastic so not as sturdy as metal but still worked fine. It was so easy to attach and cost effective that I will not let this flag get as faded as my last before replacing.

Easy to install, great price
I had to drill a hole into my mailbox for it to be installed, but it's been on there for months now and it's working great. We recently had a lot of tornados and severe thunderstorms recently but this little guy is still there.

Defective! But use the flag. Perfect fit for old Solar Group mailbox.
The only part I used from this set was the flag on my old parts. The part that holds the flag up would not hold the flag up so I put all my old parts back on with the new flag. The plastic piece that holds the flag up is supposed to have a small notch in the slot to hold the flag up, but the one I got did not have the notch cut correctly so the flag just dropped back down. Rather than return it I just used the new flag with my old parts. Mine is a Solar Group mailbox and this is the perfect replacement and fits with all the little bumps lining up with the holes. My mailbox is from 1997 and this is an exact replacement.

Its the flag for your mailbox. What else do you need to know. Easy to install but if you are not sure, you might want to take a picture of the instructions on the back before you open it. you should also know, it does NOT come with an installation screw

Poor quality
The pieces to hold the flag together to the mailbox do not hold it secure at all. Instructions are poorly written for what is provided. Waste of $5 unless you go get your own hardware.
