I thought this was going to be 7oz. I now have enough doubanjiang for a LONG time! I'm having fun finding different ways to use it besides the Mapo Tofu for which I purchased it.

If you're looking for fermented bean flavor and a bit of heat this is a good paste to use. I agree with other reviews that this is somewhat too salty . I'd like to add more to get the flavor but the salt level prevents that. However it's pricing is good for the amount of use you'll get out of this product.

Flavor is great and the price isn't bad for the amount you get. It is a pretty large jar. Unless you use this frequently, this jar will last a while.

Short dated item. Only last 6 months. This type of items usually last more than a year.

Authentic Sichuan Pixian Broad Bean Chili Paste! It tastes exactly like the one I buy in China Town. It’s mild & delicious. I use it to make sauce for tofu, fish, chicken, pork, beef, and noodles. This large jar of bean paste will last a long time. Great price for under $10.
