I don't write a lot of reviews, but this product made me come back on the computer. Bought 4 for our garage which was fully of stacked boxes. Used 3 as standing vertical, and 1 horizontal to act as a light weight work bench. All in all they look great, are very sturdy and were so simple to put together. The first unit takes a bit longer to ensure you don't get it wrong, but after that its really a piece of cake. Could not recommend highly enough - one of those sure thing products you will be very pleased with - and good value on the cost front too!

Remarkably good value and well finished but as others have commented assembly can be a little tricky as the stamped tongues on the shelves sometimes wander out of the stamped grooves in the supports. If you are a perfectionist then a fine edge slot type screw driver is needed to either open out the grooves or guide the tongues into position.The shelves are untreated mdf so in any damp environment painting them is a must!

This product was excellent with easy to follow assembly instructions and has solved my untidy garage problem.However the item comes as 3Separate parcels and initially I only received two packages without any mention from the provider or the delivery company. After several frustrating emails and 5 days later the final package was delivered.

Be careful! 175 kg per shelf might be true but I wouldn't want to risk it. Some brackets slide in place very easily and some others you have to push & adjust to fix. What that means is that at the first movement, some of the brackets come lose. The only way to make it stable is to have weight on the shelf but it defies the purpose. Also, unless you put 3 shelves on each half, it wobbles and does not feel solid enough. If you're after a cheap solution to hold light weight and you will secure it to the wall, I guess it's ok, you get what you pay for. I ended up returning mine and I have to pay £7 per box, I have purchased a set of 4 and it quickly adds up. Would not recommend.

The metalwork is fairly flimsy and there are no fixings apart from metal tabs on the front-to-back sections that you have to bend yourself. As a result the overall structure has little rigidity and is just held together by gravity. You can't lift it without it coming apart. The shelves are made of 6mm hardboard.Assembly is reasonably easy. For the price they just about do the job, but I think calling them "Heavy duty" is an exaggeration.

Got 2 six foot racks. Built them single handed. Took one day to erect the pair. The second rack was quicker as I knew what to do. Read past reviews so had flat head screw driver handy. Used it to open the slots slightly to allow the tab to go through without snagging or coming out on the wrong side. Felt very flimsy at first but got stronger as the components were added. Quite pleased with the finished product.

Bought 5 of these to kit out a garage. They were a little fiddly as others have mentioned but after the first one was done my husband got the hang of it and put them all up by himself. We varied some of the shelves to accommodate different sized items. Strong, sturdy and look very good - they'll be up for many many years!
