Q: Are the screws suitable for mounting on to a wooden gate?

They come with rawlplugs for mounting on masonry but I see no reason why the screws won’t go into wood

Q: Is this supplied with brass screws which don't rust? Are the holes countersunk into the slate so screw heads are flush with slate surface??

Hi, We usually supply the number with CHROME screws - but we have brass screws if you prefer. You will need to send a message with the order asking for bras - otherwise we will automatically send chrome. We dont countersink the holes intentionally because this makes it very difficult to attach the chrome/brass screwcaps. The screwcaps screw down over the screwhead to cover any gaps Hope this helps Regards Mike
