Pix A82 / 4L840 V-Belt

The belt was advertised as WIX, but what I got was some generic brand that I never heard of. I have been working on Tractors for years and have never felt the consistency of this belt, like from a true auto part store. But the price is 1/4 and it fit fine. Shipping was great and fast so I cant complain and will try it out on my GT 6000 hydro just to plow snow this winter. if it lasts I will let you know in April, if it don't I will let you know right a way. Belt was as described, and delivered quickly as others said. Belt was replacement drive belt for my Sears 24 HP Craftsman tractor with hydrostat. Craftsman belt was #140218. Local stores wanted $35 to $55 dollars for a Sears belt. This merchants's price was $12.80. I was skeptic but the belt fit perfect. It was maybe 1/2 shorter than the original belt but that did not cause any install problems. I had 325 hours on the original after 6 years. The tractor runs better with this belt than the original. The original belt always had slight slippage under heavy load, but now there is none. Since I don't know how long this belt will last I just ordered another. If you are changing this belt yourself, like anything, it is a challange the first time on this tractor.

Put this belt on my Craftsman lawn tractor model#:917276680 to replace the OEM belt part#:140218 and no more slippage. Not too sure I would get 10 years of use out of it like I did with the OEM belt.

The first one that was shipped was an 82" belt which was too short. Other reviewers had this same problem. Amazon made everything right. New belt seems to be of good quality and it has given my garden tractor a little better pulling ability.

This is the first replacement belt I have purchased and installed so I can't say it is any better or worse than a name brand, more expensive belt. However, I don't see any difference between the two brands, (craftsmen and this brand). It was not hard to install and it arrived in a timely manner. In the time that the belt has been installed (6 weeks?) I haven't had a single problem. Thanks for a good deal and best Christmas wishes to all.

This belt gets two stars because it basically is what it says it is. But on my lawnmower, multiple ones of these belts twisted themselves up and became useless in just a few hours of mowing. Now granted, that probably means that one of my guide rollers is out of true or something. But I took the mower to a maintenance shop and they couldn't find anything blatantly wrong. They put on a more expensive name-brand belt, and it has been fine all summer.So give this belt a try, and if it works for you, great. But it didn't work for me.

Original belt finally was failing after ~10 years of use. Belt was delivered on time in perfect condition. Hoping this belt will last at least half the time of the other as it was a great price.
