An expensive outlay, but cheaper in the long run for a Quality Product!
I seem to get through the 500ml spray cans of Duck Oil far too quickly for my liking, so I opted for this 5 litre can.I have decanted some of the contents into two 500ml Oiler Cans and resealed the original can.I have used Duck Oil for a few years now, with no issues to date and this is the same quality and viscosity as always.I much prefer Duck Oil to WD40, it penetrates the same, lubricates for longer and is my 'all round' oil.My oiler cans have flexible nozzles which enable me to apply the oil in the same manner as the spray cans.

Great oil and supplied in a tin
I switched to this oil when a well known competitor replaced its metal tins with badly designed plastic ones which are notorious for leaking, and I’m happy I did.You used to be certain of finding a tin of the above mentioned competitor’s oil in almost all old workshops and garages but not any more. They made the daft mistake of forcing plastic containers onto their customers and are now paying the price as customers switch to better alternatives of which Duck Oil is undoubtedly one of the best.Duck is a great oil. Easy to use and works very well whether for general lubrication or as a penetrating oil.I decant a bit into a spray bottle and use that as I can control the spray focus and spread more easily. Now I’ve switched to Duck oil I’ll not be switching back!

Waterproofing oil
Duck oil has been around for ages. AA patrol men used it in the 1970s. It is basically the same as WD40 and usually cheaper. It is a very thin light oil that is good for stopping tools rusting or as a penetrating oil. A 5L tin used with a plastic spray bottle works out way cheaper than aerosol cans of this or WD40.

This stuff is incredible
Until last week I'd dismissed Duck Oil as "just another brand claiming to be the best." But at the suggestion of a local engineer, I tried it and found it in a league of its own.As part of my job I am responsible for overseeing a commercial vehicle workshop and we'd always used a different brand, but not now. I honestly have never seen anything like this before. I have tried this objectively- one vehicle, 12 bolts holding in a radiator- 3 with Duck Oil and the other 9 split between our usual brand and a couple of others I found. The Duck Oil coated bolts came out much, much easier.

Damaged product on arrival
Duck oil is a good product. Very disappointed at the state of container on delivery. It looked like it had been dragged on a rope behind delivery van.
