Vent installed just like the original, recommend this RV vent to others.

Thanks to Alice, and Aaron reviews. 22"X22" is a number pulled out of the air by somebody, probably Heng. Thanks to other reviews I expected this vent to fit my need as my opening was more like 21 1/2" X 21 1/2". Measurements provided by seller or manufacturer are either stock, exterior, or made up numbers. To be as specific as possible: This item will fit a 21 3/8" X 21 3/8" opening EXACTLY. Should easily work up to 21 1/2" square opening without modifications but any larger and plan a project (perhaps flashing). Item arrived with a slight crack but these things crack like eggs so it didn't bother me. Great value for the money if you compare.

Truck camper

It arrived missing parts and the frame was terribly bent. Super cheap materials. Nothing like original in terms of quality. I used my torch to even out the frame but Amazon will do nothing about the missing parts unless I return the whole thing and wait for a replacement. This is a product that you do not purchase until you need it.We also paid $50+ to select Amazon as the vendor since I naively believed that the quality control would be more on-point since I read the other reviews prior to ordering. That being said, I couldn’t find this size anywhere else including from the original manufacturer, so. It’s better than a hole in the ceiling.

FINALLY found the right hatch for our 1983 Lance camper.Great quality. Does it's job well.

this vent is the worst..only came with some of the hardware, didnt fit in the opening, and doesnt close properly. It rattles while I am driving and doesnt open or close smoothly. I will never buy this brand of vent again. Waste of money.

I thought these roof vents were a standard size, but unfortunately this was too small for my opening, which I am pretty sure is 24x24. Didn't realize it before I put all the butyl tape on it, now I am not sure if I can return it. Ultimately, I think I will be plugging the opening entirely because this has been very difficult to find the right vent.

the fit was a little off but it was manageable to make it work. i do have an older camper. the sizes do change over the years. so that's why i gave a 5. works like i need. don't forget the sealing kit.
