Installed this power socket in our Jeep Cherokee XJ. The wire and insulation are good quality. Connected the output the red to a 12v (+) in the wire harness and the black to a chassis ground point with a 25 amp fuse. Using SAE connectors, this kit runs a 400 watt inverter to power radio charger, tool chargers and or work lights. When not using the jeep, we really like the ability to plug in a small solar battery maintainer in the rear window. The small section of insulation exposed to the elements has held up well with all the vibration, sand and dirt from the roads. No signs of wear. This kit is versatile and has endless applications.

Very easy solution for running cables thru walls. Clean look. Easy to install. Appears to be decent quality and does it's job. Connections are not too hard to separate. Works good and very reasonably priced!

If you want a clean install and the proper size hole for the plug you will need to cut the fuse off. Then rewire the fuse back to the plug. Not a super simple install.

This was great to have anywhere in the system. If I had recommendations, it would be to offer a 4 pack or more and make the fuse lid see-through.

I installed this into my daughter's power wheels car. Now I don't have to open the battery compartment and/or remove the battery to charge it. I'm able to use my same battery maintainer I use for my motorcycle to charge her toy. So much quicker and easier!Wire quality is great, was easy to install, included everything needed. Very pleased.

This is a two pack of SAE extension cords. Each cord has a standard SAE connector on each end with one end having a socket sidewall port/dust cap. The other end has a standard dust cap. The caps are dust and waterproof. Each cord is 1.3' long and has an inline fuse holder along with six different sized fuses included. The sidewall port also comes with mounting hardware. The cords have color coded premium 12 AWG insulated copper wires and are flexible and sturdy. I used this to add an output port on the side of my diy overland trailer to have an output port for the solar panels on the roof so I can connect up to my portable power station. Works great.
