iPega PG-9072 Android Bluetooth Game Controller+ Blutooth Keyboard + InIfrared Learning Remote Controller

My setup is a Samsung TV, the latest Fire TV (2017 4K Edition), and an AmazonBasics 2.1 Soundbar. I couldn't find an IR code to enter into my existing remote to work the volume on the soundbar, so I was using three remotes (one for each of the items I listed). I wanted to combine these into one remote, and this seemed like a possibility. The top portion of the remote is all IR learning buttons, which was easy to program and controls my TV and soundbar volume through one remote now with no issues. The slide portion of the remote is the bluetooth part, and it does pair with the Fire TV but only as a GamePad and not as a keyboard. It does control the Fire TV, but none of the keyboard keys work. For example, I go to search for a title in Netflix and the keyboard letters don't do anything.
