Like LR Perfection, RC Perfection takes a clear, in-depth, and uniquely helpful approach to what is arguably the most difficult section to teach. Most RC materials rely on vague advice like, “read with intention” or “look for support in the passage,” which offer little value to advanced students. RC Perfection, by contrast, defines the traits of an advanced reader and provides precise strategies tailored to different types of difficult RC questions. As with LR Perfection, my score in this section has become far more consistent after working through this book.

I bought this book's counterpart - the LR Perfection - before buying this one. With LR perfection covering mostly more advanced questions, the RC perfection gives a comprehensive guide for readers at all stages.The essence of this book is that it instructs readers to tackle the RC section in a very intuitive way. In other words, it's very easy to follow and the way the contents are put is clear and well organized.Overall, I consider it step-by-step handbook for acing the RC sections and would highly recommend it!

I picked up this book after reading LR Perfection, which was an absolute banger of a book (highly recommend). At first, I was skeptical that Reading Comprehension could even be “learned,” considering how random the themes and topics always seemed to be. This book completely challenged that perception. It reframes RC in a way that makes it approachable and systematic. It guides you from being a novice to a master of identifying the underlying structure of passages. I now approach RC with much more confidence, and who knows RC could be actually fun to study!

Incredibly well-organized book. For an exam where the RC section seems difficult to tackle, this book methodologically approaches different kinds of passages, overall reading techniques, a myriad of problem types, and other RC specific skills vital to anyone wanting to improve their RC. The incredibly detailed table of contents (really detailed) helped me tailor my approach to the book based off my personal needs. Recommend it for anyone hoping to improve their score in the LSAT and are struggling with Reading Comprehension sections.

RC was always my weakest section—I’d zone out halfway through and miss key details. This book changed that. It doesn’t just tell you to “read actively”—it actually shows you how, with strategies that train you to recognize structure, tone shifts, and the logic behind questions. I worked through all the hardest passages listed by topic at the end of the book, and that’s what really upped my game. I went from -7 or -8 to consistently -1 or -2. If RC is holding your score back, this is the best resource I’ve found.
