I use this whenever I put some gravel down to prevent weeds from creeping through. The fabric itself is pretty strong and is made from woven plastic. It's very easy to cut with scissors and provides a grid to help you cut it straight. It is liable to fray a bit at the cut ends, so I would recommend folding it over (and perhaps stapling) to protect the cut edges a bit. Very cheap for the quality, and much more durable and better for this purpose than the soft fabric barriers you find in high street shops.

I have bought weed suppressant membrane from Amazon in the past but couldn't fine the supplier I used before. Thought this would be a good alternative but it's not as heavy or strong as the other make. It does puncture easily and grass finds it's way through in some areas. It's OK but not brilliant. Probably wouldn't buy again.

Not as thick as the higher quality membrane and the fact that 10m of the stuff is folded like a blanket for delivery instead of on a roll is a MAJOR pain in the bum when you want to use just a little of it at a time. I'll be ordering it by the roll in the future.

This was a great buy. We bought two to cover a newly dug border. Planted and cut around new plants then lay slate to finish Exactly what we wanted. Would buy again if needed as the service was exceptional.

Just received today, only ordered yesterday so very fast delivery, really pleased with it, not put it down in the garden yet

My pack was a flat sheet. Easy to cut and lay. Nothing got through yet. A couple of inches of stones on top to hold it down. The excess useful when spraying the fence to stop drips on concrete.

All ggood nothing to dislike

Great quality, thick. Have used this before in other areas, we put 2 layers down but one would be sufficient, keeps weeds away really well.
